The Hangout Restaurant - Live Music, Food, And Family Fun In Gulf Shores Alabama! Great Beach Too!
We headed to Gulf Shores, Alabama, and one of the things several people told us to do while we were there, was go to The Hangout restaurant! It was easy to find; you can't hardly miss it if you take a drive along the beach. It's basically right by the water, on the corner of Beach Boulevard and Gulf Shores Parkway (Hwy 59), next to a beautiful stretch of beach. The big building and its outdoor courtyard was full of people, the music was appropriately loud, and the atmosphere was definitely fun! We got there at about 5:00 pm and there was a line of people waiting to get a table. We were told it could be over a two hour wait, but another host said it might just be an hour. We were shocked when we were buzzed 15 minutes later saying our table was ready! Others had already waited over an hour, but we got in early probably because it was just the two of us. The food was great, and then we explored!
There was a large outdoor stage in the courtyard and a great band was playing. We understood that live music at The Hangout is a constant, regular thing, which is great. There are several games that are free to play outside while you're waiting for a table or just hanging out, and there's a foam party every hour on the hour! There are a couple of gift shops, one inside and out. There is also a great play area for the kids out in the courtyard, so there's something here to entertain the whole family. And the beach that's practically connected to it, might just be the best section of beach in Gulf Shores - it's amazing! So, check out the great beach before or after you go to The Hangout, but either way, do yourself a favor and check this place out!

New Orleans [Part 1] unique city French architecture Bourbon Street music I Jarek in Louisiana USA
Welcome to my youtube channel! My name is Jarek and thank you for visiting my page. If you like my video, please subscribe my channel. Thank you and have a nice day!
New Orleans is a consolidated city-parish located along the Mississippi River in the southeastern region of the U.S. state of Louisiana. With an estimated population of 393,292 in 2017, it is the most populous city in Louisiana. A major port, New Orleans is considered an economic and commercial hub for the broader Gulf Coast region of the United States.
New Orleans is world-renowned for its distinct music, Creole cuisine, unique dialect, and its annual celebrations and festivals, most notably Mardi Gras. The historic heart of the city is the French Quarter, known for its French and Spanish Creole architecture and vibrant nightlife along Bourbon Street. The city has been described as the most unique in the United States, owing in large part to its cross-cultural and multilingual heritage. Founded in 1718 by French colonists, New Orleans was once the territorial capital of French Louisiana before being traded to the United States in the Louisiana Purchase of 1803.

???????? ???? Islam in America | Rewind
Ten years ago, Rageh Omaar embarked on a unique journey across the United States to reveal the truly surprising, counter-intuitive, and little-known world of Islam in America.
From the major conurbations of New York City and Chicago, to the small town hinterlands of Texas and the west, Al Jazeera pulled together the history of Islam in the US and painted a vivid portrait of a vibrant, diverse and growing group of followers of Islam that is unlike any Muslim community in the world.
Since then, much has changed globally, with the rise of ISIL, and in the US, with the election of Donald Trump as the 45th president of the free world. Among the numerous controversial decisions that have come to pass under the Trump administration is what has come to be known as the Muslim travel ban - a law temporarily barring entry to the US for travellers from six different Muslim-majority countries.
REWIND spoke with Rula Jebreal, professor of international relations at the University of Miami, about the shape of Islam in America 10 years since the film was first aired, and how things have changed for Muslims living in the US.
A lot of things have changed. There has been a major shift in Islamophobia and attacks against Muslims, especially in 2015 and 2016. It is not a coincidence that the FBI report about Islamophobic hate crimes skyrocketed in those years, far more than in 2001 after 9/11, Jebreal says.
Immediately after the election, President Trump [travel] banned six Muslim countries ... it looked like the religious persecution of one group based on the actions of individuals in Pakistan or Afghanistan ... he then went on to attack [London's] first Muslim mayor, Sadiq Khan, immediately in the aftermath of a terror attack in London, singling him out because he's Muslim and he's brown, because he has the platform.
We are a minority [in the US]. We are under-represented in the political arena and in the media. When you go to the Holocaust museum, it is clear and written in the walls: the Holocaust did not start with a killing. It started with violent words, it started with politicians dividing people with them versus us. It started with demonising an entire group of people and criminalising them. That paved the way to the killing and the gas chambers.
Jebreal believes that America today is fighting a monster: white supremacy, the pure race. In the name of the pure race, every minority is the enemy.

Is Popeyes Chicken Sandwich Better Than Chick-fil-A?
Since being released nationwide on August 12, Popeyes sandwich has earned glowing press, winning plenty of head-to-head taste tests from publications like The Washington Post, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and Business Insider. Even when not blowing the competition out of the water, Popeyes has still earned positive feedback — like Matt Wake at Alabama.com who proclaimed Popeyes sandwich to offer Jimi Hendrix-style guitar heroics to Chick-fil-A's more Keith Richards-like classic strumming.
All this buzz has led to the world's greatest hype amplifier: scarcity. Reports are coming in that Popeyes has been selling out of the new sandwich at locations nationwide — a phenomenon that's becoming newsworthy in its own right. As The Takeout wrote, both Alex Holley of Philadelphia's Fox 29 and Daralene Jones of Orlando's WFTV tweeted photos of signs at Popeyes proclaiming that no more sandwiches were available.

The River War: An Account of the Reconquest of the Sudan by Winston S. Churchill
When the self-proclaimed Mahdi (“Guided One”) gathered Islamic forces and kicked the Anglo-Egyptians out of the Sudan, he unleashed a backlash. With the image of the heroic General Charles Gordon dying at Khartoum, the British public was ready to support a war to reclaim the lost territories. And when the political time was right, a British-Egyptian-Sudanese expedition led by the redoubtable Herbert Kitchener set out to do just that.
The river involved was the Nile. For millennia, its annual flood has made habitable a slender strip, though hundreds of miles of deserts, between its tributaries and its delta. Through this desolate region, man and beast struggled to supply the bare essentials of life. Though this same region, the expedition had to find and defeat an enemy several times larger than itself.
The young Churchill was hot to gain war experience to aid his career, and so he wangled a transfer to the 21st Lancers and participated in the last successful cavalry charge the world ever saw, in the climactic battle of Omdurman. He also had a position as war correspondent for the Morning Post, and on his return to England he used his notes to compose this book.
