On Holy Thursday morning, the Archbishop, joined by the priests of the Archdiocese, gather at St Joseph's Church (Bukit Timah) to celebrate the Chrism Mass. This Mass manifests the unity of the priests with their bishop.
The Archbishop blesses three oils — the oil of catechumens, the oil of the infirm and holy chrism — which will be used in the administration of the sacraments throughout the Archdiocese for the year. This tradition is rooted in the early Church and was later absorbed into the Holy Thursday evening Mass; and finally reinstituted as a special Mass of the chrism distinct from the evening Mass. The newly restored Cathedral of the Good Shepherd was dedicated on 14 February 2017 at 7pm, on the 120th anniversary of the Consecration held in 1897. This was followed by a 2-week celebration of daily activities at the Catholic Mother Church of Singapore. Thousands participated in this joyous occasion. Learn more about this at .

In 1917, Our Lady appeared to 3 children at Fatimah, Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta, to give her message to the whole world.
On January 11, Pope Francis blessed six statues of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and conferred upon them the title of “International Centennial Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Fatima”. Each of these pilgrim images have since been sent from the Vatican to the world.
In collaboration with The Alliance of the Holy Family International, Catholic Spirituality Centre, St Joseph’s Church – Victoria Street (OLFCC), and The Legion of Mary, you are invited to join in THE CENTENNIAL CELEBRATIONS OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA, which will focus on the Urgent Call to Prayer & Reparation to spread the message of Fatima in Singapore.
