The Dolben Vault, St. Mary the Virgin Church, Finedon
This rare footage filmed by myself documents the Dolben Vault underneath the High Altar at St. Mary the Virgin Church in Finedon, filmed on 2nd November 2013 as part of All Souls Day. The Dolben Vault is the final resting place of the Dolben and Mackworth-Dolben family, Finedon's Lords and Ladies of the Manor and most prestigious family, thought to have been initially constructed around 1710.
This vault is not open to the public and was opened on this date for the first time in a number of years, making this footage rather special.
Music is Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. No copyright infringement intended.
Filmed on my Sony Cybershot DSC-H55 digital camera on 2nd November 2013.

Finedon St. Mary's Flower Festival 2014
This is footage of the beautiful floral displays to behold at the annual September Flower Festival at Finedon St. Mary's church. The theme for this year's event was the First World War, and as such the number of displays reflected on a different aspect of this iconic period of history. My particular favourite display was one dedicated to the nurse Edith Cavell, put together by Fr. David Coles.
Filmed on my Sony Cybershot DSC-H55 digital camera on 13th September 2014.

The Opening of Ken's Diner in Finedon, 1st July 2012
This is a short video of the opening of Finedon's new American Diner, Ken's Diner, officially opened on 1st July 2012 with a show of American cars outside. The event was well attended, with the inside of the building absolutely packed and outside equally as busy. This restaurant was heavily promoted on Facebook and is already popular, replacing the old 'Mackworth Diner' cafe which went downhill in years prior to the new Ken's Diner.
This American Diner is worth a visit and is situated on Burton Road, Finedon along the A6. It's website address is: kensdiner.co.uk

Laura Smith - Hallelujah - Rev. Tony Webster's Memorial Service in Finedon 2015
This footage is of my sister Laura performing one of her best - Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah - in front of a full church congregation for a special evening service to remember Rev. Tony Webster, minister of the Wesleyan Chapel in Finedon from 2003-2013 before being moved on by the Chapel big-wigs (much to the disapproval of most Finedon people) and moving to Derbyshire. Tony sadly passed away in hospital in Sheffield in early December 2014. To Tony's memory, a memorial service was held in his honour for the Finedon people in January 2015. The amount of people alone showed how much of a well loved man he was by all.
Filmed on 24th January 2015 on my iPhone 6.
