Citadella is the Hungarian word for Citadel, a kind of fortress. The word Citadella is exclusively used by other languages to address the Citadel located upon the top of the strategic Gellért Hill in Budapest, Hungary.
ツィタデッラ（洪:Citadella [ˈt͡sitɒdelːlɒ]、城塞の意）とは、ハンガリーブダペストのブダ地区のゲッレールト山の頂上にある城塞の事である。語源はイタリア語チッタデッラ (cittadella [t͡ʃitːaˈdelːla])。ツィタデッラと言う語は他の言語でも、ブダペストのゲッレールト山にある城塞の固有名詞のように使われている場合が多い。
Die Zitadelle in der ungarischen Hauptstadt Budapest, auf der Spitze des Gellértberges, ist ein Festungsbau. Er wurde aus den Erfahrungen der Märzrevolution 1848/49 heraus errichtet, als der Ungarische Reichstag seine Unabhängigkeit vom Hause Habsburg-Lothringen erklärte und die Republik ausrief, woraufhin die österreichische Armee unter Beistand von russischen und kroatischen Truppen eingriff und den Aufstand niederschlug. Heute gehört die Zitadelle zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe.

MASSIVE SIEGE OF BUDAPEST CITADEL
Today I welcome you to the frontline of Budapest in 1945. Its main citadel Gellert Hill is still defended by German SS troops and they already repelled several Soviet attacks. But now, the Soviets are about to commit another massive and decisive assault, that'll be supported by heavy artillery.
This great map is part of Metatron map pack and I made this cinematic mission. Just if you wonder, there were a total of ~2200 Soviet infantry who come in waves and up to 300 German infantry. At the end, around 300 Soviets survived so a lot of comrades were lost.

Gellért Hill - high hill overlooking the Danube in Budapest, Hungary. It is part of the 1st and 11th Districts. Gellért Hill was named after Saint Gerard who was thrown to death from the hill. The famous Hotel Gellért and the Gellért Baths can be found in Gellért Square at the foot of the hill, next to Liberty Bridge.
At the top of the hill is the Citadella (Citadel), from which a view is available down both directions of the Danube.( )

A Gellért-hegy (korábban Kelen-hegy, németül Blocksberg) Budapest I. és XI. kerületében, a Duna jobb partján álló, 235 m magas kiemelkedés. A Dunára néző meredek sziklafala és a tetejéről nyíló pesti panoráma páratlan látvány. Budapest ékkövének is szokták nevezni. Az UNESCO a Gellért-hegy tetején fekvő Citadella erődjével, a budai Várheggyel és a Duna két partjának panorámájával együtt a Gellért-hegyet 1987-ben a Világörökség részévé nyilvánította.( )

Góra Gellerta - wzgórze o wysokości 235 metrów, znajdujące się w Budapeszcie, w I i XI dzielnicy (Tabán), na zachód od Wzgórza Zamkowego. Nazwę zawdzięcza biskupowi Gellertowi, który właśnie tutaj miał zostać zamordowany przez pogan (według legendy spuszczono go ze szczytu w drewnianej beczce).

Just before the citadel on top of the hill i spun around to grab this video. The hill itself saw heavy fighting during WW2 and the 1956 Hungarian revolution as it commands a clear view of the city.
