Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City, Utah 2017
I went downtown to the Clark Planetarium with my daughter on Friday night. We had a great time looking at all the fun exhibits they have down there. We expanded our minds as we thought of our galaxy and universe we live in. We went also to see their latest show on their Hansen Globe theatre called To Space and Back. I highly recommend seeing it, please visit them and go see their great exhibits and awesome shows. Hope you like this video I put together of our fun night. I included the website link to Clark Planetarium below as well as a link to the show we saw. Please also check out links to the music artists I used in this video below. Thanks so much! :))

Plasma Ball at Clark Planetarium, Utah
Saturn (Clark Planetarium Productions)
Its one of the most beautiful and magnificent planets in the solar system...a symbol of all that is exotic and wonderful about the universe.
Once, it was the most distant planet we knew of...a mysterious world seemingly beyond our reach. But now, using sophisticated spacecraft, we have finally been able to reach out to this great ringed giant. Weve sailed by the trillions of chunks of ice that make up its glorious rings...weve uncovered the bizarre faces of its unique moons...and weve peered down into its turbulent atmosphere through massive and violent hurricanes.
Thanks to new scientific information, we can present this planet, its moons and its rings in a 3-dimensional environment encompassing the entire dome.

Salt Lake City Public Library / Hansen Planetarium
Built of Sanpete Limestone with a donation from John A. Packard, Tintic Mining District Millionaire.
Designed by Heins & Lefarge of New York.
Planetarium established 1965 as a memorial to George T. Hansen by his wife.
The Ladies Literary Society is responsible for the construction of the Salt Lake City Public Library Building. These women promoted Utah’s first tax for the support of public libraries in 1898. They then convinced mining millionaire John Q. Packard to donate both the land and funds for constructing the state’s first public library building.
The Salt Lake City Public Library Building is a good example of the Beaux Arts Style architecture. This style, which combines classical motifs with elaborate decorative elements, was popular for large public buildings at the turn of the century. Look for the library’s ornate stone gable and two-story entrance pavilion.
Dedicated October 27, 1905
