Charles Town - Massachusetts
Charlestown is a dissolved municipality and current neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, United States, and is located on a peninsula north of Boston proper. Charlestown was originally a separate town and the first capital of the Massachusetts Bay Colony; it became a city in 1847 and was annexed by Boston on January 5, 1874. While it has had a substantial Irish American population since the migration of Irish during the Irish famine of the 1840s, since the late 1980s the neighborhood has changed dramatically because of its proximity to downtown and its colonial architecture

HISTORICAL
The Schooner Summer Wind was launched as the Queen Tyi in 1929 from the yard of C.A. Morse (now Lyman-Morse) of Thomaston, Maine. Designed by the John G. Alden Company of Boston, Massachusetts (design no. 412) considered by many to be one of the top design firms of this type of craft. She was built for Arthur Crisp, a Wall Street banker who lost the vessel in the Market Crash of 1929.
Renamed Sea Gypsy, she became a well known schooner yacht during the 1930s, racing and cruising the waters of New England.
During WWII, the War Department assigned the vessel to the U.S. Navy's Coastal Picket Patrol, a fleet of private yachts charged with patrolling the U.S. coastlines. For a history of classic sailing yachts that served, visit...
classicsailboats.org/the-coastal-picket-patrol-semper-paratus/
Following WWII Sea Gypsy had several private owners, several refits, and served mostly as a charter vessel in the Mediterranean.
RECENT
In 2006, after a long period of deterioration, a new owner commissioned a major restoration and Summerwind returned to the classic yacht racing circuit.
Most recently, she became a sail training vessel, first donated to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and then to the U.S. Naval Academy Sailing Foundation.
Summerwind will once again be available for sale in the Fall of 2019. For information, visit...

Foreplay/Long Time - Boston (1976)
Foreplay/Long Time was a song by the American rock band Boston, released on the band's eponymous debut album, and as their second single, on Epic Records in 1976. It combines an instrumental introduction, Foreplay, to the main song Long Time featuring lead vocalist Brad Delp, generally played as one on the radio and listed as one track on the album. It peaked at No. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 1977. In an interview for the Best Of Boston CD, Tom Scholz, leader and producer of Boston, said that Foreplay was the first song he ever recorded, and he did this on a two-track machine in his basement. Foreplay is a progressive instrumental prelude, primarily consisting of rapid triplet arpeggios on Hammond M3 organ (contrary to popular belief, the song was not recorded on a B3, as Scholz had a limited budget at the time and was unable to afford one) with a bass part doubled by a clavinet, and drums, with lead guitar joining at the end. According to Scholz, the synthesizer-like swoops were not produced with synthesizers, but rather by scraping a pick along a string of a guitar. The debut album Boston, released in July 1976, peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200, and has been certified as selling 17x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album is the second best-selling debut album of all-time in the United States, after Guns N' Roses's Appetite For Destruction. It's been such a long time,
I think I should be going,
And time doesn't wait for me,
It keeps on rolling.
Sail on,
On a distant highway.
I've got to keep on chasing a dream.
I've gotta be on my way;
Wish there was something I could say.
Chorus :-
Well, I'm taking my time,
I'm just moving on.
You'll forget about me after I've been gone,
And I take what I find,
I don't want no more,
It's just outside of your front door.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's been such a long time.
It's been such a long time.
Well [Woo?] I get so lonely
When I am without you,
But in my mind, deep in my mind,
I can't forget about you.
Good times
And faces that remind me;
I'm trying to forget your name
And leave it all behind me.
You're coming back to find me.
Chorus
It's been such a long time,
I think I should be going,
And time doesn't wait for me,
It keeps on rolling.
There's a long road
I've gotta stay in time with.
I've got to keep on chasing that dream,
Though I may never find it,
I'm always just behind it.
Chorus
Well, I'm taking my time,
I'm just moving on.
