climbing the GREAT WALL omg | Beijing Day 8
My trip to the Great Wall was spectacular! I loved feeling the intense history that laid there. Next time I think I'll visit an unrestored section :D
**There is only one video left in my Beijing series so stay tuned **
To book the tickets for this trip, I just went on Trip Advisor and found cheap tickets to go to the wall. Because we booked on Trip Advisor, we went with all the other foreigners and didn't get to go with Chinese natives going to the Great Wall which was interesting because we hadn't seen foreigners in China to that amount for a loooong time hahahha
We went to the Mutianyu section close to Beijing. I think it was a nice experience, but I will totally try a more unrestored section next time where there will also be less people.

Beijing China Travel Vlog | Climbing the Great Wall of China |Forbidden City & Summer Palace
Hey Loves,
Just wrapped up my summer vacation in Asia and Beijing was my first stop. This time I tried to highlight all my days as we spent 4 days exploring all the major locations. I must say the best part of my trip was actually climbing the Great Wall as it has been on my bucketlist for a lifetime :-)
I really hope you all enjoy watching.
XOXO!
Climbing the Great Wall, Beijing, China 2007
This was footage from a group trip I was involved with in 2007 that was presented by Boston Globe Media. This has footage of myself and co-participants on the trip scaling the unconceivable stone structure which presents a steep stairwell to climb a mountain. Enjoy!

[HD] Beijing Layover Tour + Great Wall Of China 2013
Beijing, China 2013
During my trip to the Philippines I had a 8 hour layover in Beijing China. Months before i made some research about the possibilty to have a short visit and to climb the Great Wall of China.
I contacted a Beijingers well-known driver and expert on layover tours names Joe! He was really funny and kind as well.
Got into Beijing without a Visa needed, for my 8 hour lay over!
It took us about 45 minutes to reach Mutianyu (Great Wall famous section) I walked around and climbed the Wall for 3 hours and took the toboggan going back down from the wall.
I could have spent more days instead of a short layover here in Beijing, coz i think Beijing or China in general has a lot of tourist attractions to be visited, thus im pretty sure 1 stopover tour is not enough.
Here's a summary of my short tour in Beijing!
Enjoy:)

For this outstanding feat, Dani was awarded Climbing Magazine's prestigious Golden Piton.

You Can Climb A 'Book Mountain' In This Gigantic Library In China
This library is a book lover's dream come true.
The Tianjin Binhai Library, Tianjin, China.
33,700 square meters. Five levels. Enough shelf space for 1.2 million books.
It was completed by Dutch architecture firm MVRDV and local architects from the Tianjin Urban Planning and Design Institute.
It's nicknamed The Eye.
The angles and curves are meant to stimulate different uses of the space, such as reading, walking, meeting and discussing. Together they form the 'eye' of the building: to see and be seen. - Winy Maas, Co-founder of MVRDV
There's a giant globe in the center of the library. It has an auditorium hidden inside.
The climbable shelving acts as a book mountain.
But there's a catch...
Not all of the books are real.
You can find a lot of books in other reading spaces beyond the main atrium space. There are sections geared for children and education.
The library has become a tourist hot spot since opening in 2017. It begs for the perfect Instagram photo.

Great Wall of China, Beijing - Winter is the best time to visit China!
The Great Wall of China is a World Heritage wonder and the only man-made structure that can be seen from outer space. It's a jaw-dropping sight at any time of the year but for a special treat, go in winter. You'd be surprised to find that winter is the best time to visit China and to explore the Great Wall without the crowds. The winter wonderland landscape is ethereal, especially when it snows on the Great Wall.
When visiting the Great Wall there are several places you can climb the wall. You can take a Badaling Great Wall tour or a Mutianyu Great Wall tour.
Visiting the Great Wall of China is one of the most iconic things to do when you're in Beijing. Walking the Great Wall of China is something everyone should try at least once. You don't have to walk the whole way. Well, you'd have to be pretty fit to do so!
It's a day trip to visit while staying in Beijing. My tour was organised by Bespoke Beijing. I stayed at China World Summit Wing in the Shangri-La Beijing.

Beijing Day 3 MUST SEE: My Great Wall of China Climb (Part 1)
READ DESCRIPTION (and please watch in fullscreen)!!!
One of my goals in life was to climb the Great Wall of China. To forever remember this amazing memory, I decided to record my entire progress on the Great Wall, from bottom to top. This was definitely a challenging climb, but I wanted to climb as high as possible. I seriously hope you enjoy this four parter, especially if you don't get the chance to visit this historic landmark.

Beijing Day 3 MUST SEE: My Great Wall of China Climb (Part 2)
READ DESCRIPTION (and please watch in fullscreen)!!!
Part 1:
I continue with my climb on the Great Wall of China. When my mom said she wasn't climbing any more, I knew this was my opportunity to climb higher than I ever imagined. No supervision rocks! Btw, there are people at the bottom that actually carry you to however high you want to go. Man, that takes some real strength to support two people at once!

BEIJING, CHINA | Forbidden Palace, Great Wall, Peking Duck & MORE!
Hey guys!!
UHHHHH!!!!!!!!
I'm soooo sorry to leave you hanging for SO long! -_- I made a vow that I need to finish my India trip vlog before uploading any other vlogs, but honestly the amount of footage I have from India is pretty ridiculous...So I decided to skip ahead to my trip to China (this was right after going to India). Americans are awarded a 72 hour visa when in Beijing, so I took advantage of that, along with 2 other travelers from my India tour group and we ventured around some of the most notable sights in Beijing including: Tienanmen Square, The Forbidden Palace, and The Great Wall of China! We finished our evening with a fancy Peking duck dinner! All in all, China was great...don't think I'll go back. I feel like this adventure was MORE than enough!
Tell me what you think!

F.K.A C.J Infinite, Dnt Stop was born and raised in Los Angeles and now resides in Seoul, South Korea. Lyrically, Dnt Stop is a storyteller with a penchant for clever punchlines and heavy self reflection. Musically, his sound pays homage to the old school while being squarely rooted in the present. As an artist, I just want to try and tell the truth to people in a way that inspires movement. I really like the Homeboy Sandman's and the Lupe Fiasco's and what they bring, but I also just heard Future's new album, and I like that too.
When not performing with the band Bold Coast, Dnt Stop is on a stage with long time partner in rhyme Jack Zilla. Either way, there are no red lights in sight.
