Experience Kerala through my eyes | Travel Vlog | Budget Trip | Cochin | Ernakulam
Traveled from Bangalore to Ernakulam in Ernakulam Express-12677.
Ernakulam Shiva Temple, also known as Ernakulathappan Temple is one of the major temples of Kerala, located in heart of Ernakulam, the downtown area of the city of Kochi. The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is considered as the city temple, with the presiding deity as the protector of the city, as per local Hindu faiths and traditions. As per the common practice in Kerala, the deity is reverently called Ernakulathappan, which means Lord of Ernakulam. The temple is located within the Durbar Hall Ground. The temple history itself has deep association with history of the city and was one of the 7 royal temples of Kochi Maharajas.
Traveled by boat jetty to Fort Kochi. Fort Kochi is a region in the city of Kochi in the state of Kerala, India. This is part of a handful of water-bound regions toward the south-west of the mainland Kochi, and collectively known as Old Kochi or West Kochi. Adjacent to this is Mattancherry. In 1967, these three municipalities, along with a few adjoining areas, were amalgamated to form the Corporation of Cochin.
St. Francis Church, in Fort Kochi (Fort Cochin), Kochi, originally built in 1503, is one of the oldest European churches in India and has great historical significance as a mute witness to the European colonial struggle in the subcontinent. The Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama died in Kochi in 1524 when he was on his third visit to India. His body was originally buried in this church, but after fourteen years his remains were removed to Lisbon.
The Mattancherry Palace is a Portuguese palace popularly known as the Dutch Palace, in Mattancherry, Kochi, in the Indian state of Kerala which features Kerala murals depicting portraits and exhibits of the Rajas of Kochi.
The Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica at Fort Kochi is one of the eight Basilicas in Kerala. Counted as one of the heritage edifices of Kerala, this church is one of the finest and most impressive churches in India and visited by tourists the whole year round.

Wonderla Amusement Park Kochi || Worderla Kochi || HD
#traveldude9 #wonderla #amusementpark #tourism #amusement #amusementparks #entertainment #Rollercoaster
The best amusement park in Kerala. Second best in South India. A wonderla with plenty of rides. Very clean and hygienic. You can't cover all rides in a single day with Regular ticket best to buy FASTRACK ticket to enjoy all rides without QUEUE. If you don't have a fast track ticket, the waiting for some rides could be bit longer. I would suggest you get a locker by paying Rs.270(100 will be refunded when you return the wrist tag)to keep your belongings safe. Another important thing is that only Nylon or Latex clothes are permitted in the pools and some water rides due to safety and hygiene reasons. You'll find plenty of shops inside the Wonderla selling nylon clothes for Rs 150 only(upper & Lower). Which is very cheaper than outside. It's a place to celebrate the smaller moments and share big wonders. Get on one of the 60+ exhilarating rides, or simply laze by the pool under the bright sun. Restaurants are ok. Generally neat and tidy. Changing facilities are great. Staffs are nice and helpful. The safe and secure ambiance and the impressive menu make it a cherished tourist spot.

Canoe Ride : Kochi Backwaters
GottoDoIndia picks out fun activities to try out in Kochi, India and make your holiday enjoyable. In this video, watch the host, Sherry, go on a canoe ride and talk about her experience.
The canoe ride boat trip is perfect for taking a Kochi backwaters tour. The ride is extremely pleasant with the canoe passing through narrow tunnels and beautiful tree-lined banks. The host informs us that a canoe is a better mode of transport if you wish to explore Kochi's backwaters because it is narrower than a houseboat and can pass effortlessly through tunnels. During the ride, we get to see much natural beauty as the banks are lined with tall, shady trees and you can hear the cheerful chirping of birds and insects. We also get to see locals carrying out their regular chores, giving us a taste of the lifestyles followed here.
If you're a woman and watching this video, there's a pleasant surprise waiting for you at the end. Hint: You will be able to sport a chic hairstyle on your next holiday outing!
Your trip to Kochi is incomplete without spending at least a day in a houseboat. To know more about houseboats and Kochi's backwaters, watch this video:
If your prefer cycling over a canoe ride, you could cycle through Kochi to soak in the scenic sights. To know more about the best place to rent cycles and cool places to visit, check out this video:

If you are travelling the west coast of India, then Kochi (Cochin) in Kerala should be on your list of places to visit.
Fort Kochi is a small seaside area, separated from the mainland by a sequence of waterways. Steeped in Portuguese, Dutch and British colonial history; today this restful spot is famed for its leisurely pace, an intriguing mix of architecture, stylish shops and cafés, and of course, the giant Chinese fishing nets.

Ernakulam is the commercial capital of the state of Kerala. It is a modern city firmly rooted in its ancient
past. Marine drive, Historical museum, Hill palace are few of the tourist destinations of Ernakulam. In ancient
