Sylvia Baldino Nabinger

Adoption has changed and is now building a tolerance to different. Finally results in the admission and acceptance of what is culturally different, the difference in ethnicity, race, social groups. If before the adoption is the solution to find a child to a family, today the whole philosophy of adoption has as the centerpiece for a better solution for children who have no family, radically changing the previous parameter. It was this perspective that the author's parents were dedicated to her and her sister, creating a bond of love and trust that was woven in the intimacy gradually, forming a true membership, since their parents felt they were the true parents. It was probably the creation of these family ties have offered the author the possibility to build in a transgenerational relationship with his adopted daughter. It shows there the meeting of two stories, two waiting in the pursuit of happiness. The testimony given by the author through his reflection shows that this meeting is possible and that has no limits. Does have risks, but offers the hope that can work. It is certainly an encouraging testimony to those who imagine pursuing this path. Sylvia Baldino Nabinger
