Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park! Its a part of my childhood, it began to grow on me at a very young age. I still have a good memory of it many years ago and photos were taken of it back then.
I might do a video showcase of the old photos to show how things have changed drastically over time.
I visit the place once every few years during summers, to see how it's going on and what's changed there.
Unfortanly quality has gone south with the most recent changes; dinosaur designs look cartoonish and some older dinosaurs have terrible repaints. It isn't like what it used to be.
I already did a few videos about the place, those are parts of it but not entirely.
I decided to show off 90% of what I recorded during my visit to it.
I had to cut a bit off my videos so adobe's premiere can do their transitions correctly.

Combe Martin Beach
Combe Martin is a small town on the North Devon coast, with a nice sandy beach flanked by rock pools. There is easy access to the beach and facilities are close to the beach. The beach is tucked away in a beautiful bay making the sheltered conditions perfect for bathing and swimming. The beach is also popular amongst Kayak fanatics as the sea is calm and the coast has many rocks to explore by water.
The beach is just a stone throw away from the town which makes it perfect to spend a day as lunch is not to far away.

Combe Martin Walk was about 5 miles in distance and included Little Hangman, Great Hangman in Exmoor National Park on the South West Coast Path. The terrain of the route was a combination of coastal path, field paths, enclosed paths, tracks and quiet lanes. The walking was on undulating ground with one steep ascent. Route finding was easy with obvious paths, good waymarking and good landmarks. Do not be deceived by the shortness of this walk as it is quite strenuous in places, particularly the initial ascent to Little Hangman. There was just 1 stile to negotiate.

Paul & Lynsey's Zoo Tour #28 Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park - SWIM WITH A SEALION
Our penultimate stop in our week long trip was a visit to Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. Word of warning, try and park in the lower car park, walking up the hill to the car can be a killer on the legs!
The collection boasts a fair collection of animals: Lions, wolves, raccoons (a lot of raccoons!), gibbons and baboons but the biggest draw for us was the Sealions, and the fact you can swim with one, which of course we did and it was a fantastic experience!
After the Sealion show (which was very entertaining) we were taken out the back to get changed into wetsuits before taking a dip in the icy pool (it was freezing!) where we met Morgan, the most amazing Sealion in the world! Here we got to touch him, play frisbee and even get taken on a lap of the pool before feeding him fish and getting a hug at the end. This was one of the most memorable experiences we have had and worth visiting the park for alone, especially as it is the only place in England that offers this.
After drying off and a look round the park we then trained a lion! For £20 you can learn simple arm movements to instruct a lion to sit, lay down of stand up, where you get to feed him as a reward. For the money this is well worth doing, as most places charge £100+ for a similar experience.
Other highlights include the Meerkat feed where you get to stand in their enclosure, the playful raccoons and the usual inquisitive marmosets.
The park also has dinosaurs dotted around everywhere, whilst they didn't appeal to us, the kids will enjoy them.
This place is well worth a visit.
