Tchessa Training Center 3D Overview
Follow The Outreach Foundation:
For nearly 40 years The Outreach Foundation has connected Christians in the United States with church partners around the world.
We help our global partners train leaders, start new congregations, expand their outreach programs, and strengthen their ministries of compassion. We raise funds to support missionaries, projects and partners who are sharing God’s love in word and deed.
But more than projects, our work is about relationships. We take about 20 groups each year out into the world to see what God is doing and to build relationships between his people. Outreach is kind of like “connective tissue” in the body of Christ. And in making those connections we’ve discovered that we not only have gifts to share in God’s mission; we also have a lot to learn from our partners around the world.

Part 3 - Privilege & Oppression 1
Explore ways you and your congregation can break through fear, insecurity and socialization into a cycle of liberation and connection.
How does our dream of Beloved Community shape our practice of Multiracial, Multicultural community?
How can we become the prophetic church, dismantling systems of privilege and oppression to co-create a multicultural community of Love and Justice?
Prophetic church, the future waits your liberating ministry... We are that prophetic church; a covenantal faith moving toward Beloved Multiracial/Multicultural Community. Our second principle invites us to covenant to affirm and promote: justice, equity and compassion in human relations. Fulfilling this affirmation, this promise, requires that we attend carefully to systems of injustice in our midst and the hurts those systems cause. It requires that we be prophets, daring to work in this life for a Now that gets us closer to fulfilling the promise of our sixth principle: the goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all. Dismantling systems of privilege and oppression within our community faith allows us to co-create the Beloved Community of Love and Justice that we aspire to.
This vision of Beloved Multiracial/Multicultural Community is OURS...
Catch it... Cast it... Lead the way.

Child Poverty in America - Marian Wright Edelman
Complete video at:
Children's Defense Fund founder Marian Wright Edelman criticizes child poverty rates in America, using the image of a family with six children who only care for five.
-----
Marian Wright Edelman talks about her new book The Sea Is So Wide and My Boat Is So Small: Charting a Course for the Next Generation.
The founder of the Children's Defense Fund looks back on what has been done, and what needs to be done, to make the nation and world safe and fair for all children. - Book Passage
Marian Wright Edelman was born in and grew up in Bennettsville, South Carolina, one of five children. In 1963, after graduating from Yale Law School, Marian Wright Edelman worked first in New York for the NAACP Legal and Defense Fund, and then in Mississippi for the same organization. There, she became the first African American woman to practice law. During her time in Mississippi, she worked on racial justice issues connected with the civil rights movement, and she also helped get a Head Start program established in her community.
During a tour by Robert Kennedy and Joseph Clark of Mississippi's poverty-ridden Delta slums, Marian met Peter Edelman, an assistant to Kennedy, and the next year she moved to Washington, D.C., to marry him and to work for social justice in the center of America's political scene. They had three sons.As part of the efforts of Marian Wright Edelman and the Children's Defense Fund on behalf of children, she has also advocated pregnancy prevention, child care funding, health care funding, prenatal care, parental responsibility for education in values, reducing the violent images presented to children, and selective gun control in the wake of school shootings.

How My Crisis Can Help You Find Meaning In Your Life | Ravi Zacharias | SPIRITUALITY | Rubin Report
Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Ravi Zacharias (Founder & President of RZIM) the author of “The Logic of God” about how a major crisis in his own life led him to find meaning and a sense of purpose. He discusses the period of suffering that helped him find his faith. He also discusses why he agrees with Jordan Peterson’s conclusions, but disagrees with his foundations, the struggle between egalitarianism and elitism and the four major questions of life that we all face. He also shares his thoughts on if someone can have a sense of morality and live a life filled with purpose and meaning without a belief in God or having faith in a religion.
Understanding spirituality is difficult in today’s fast paced world. Does the world of theology still offer something to a more secular modern world? Are there lessons to learn from a more spiritual path that can help us make sense of issues like morality? Or is spirituality best left to the past according to some modern day atheists and skeptics? What does it even mean to be spiritual in an enlightened world? Hear from a wide variety of guests on the benefits, struggles, and problems with religion with this playlist:

Everything you think you know about addiction is wrong | Johann Hari

Johann Hari has seen our current methods fail firsthand, as he has watched loved ones struggle to manage their addictions. He started to wonder why we treat addicts the way we do — and if there might be a better way. As he shares in this deeply personal talk, his questions took him around the world, and unearthed some surprising and hopeful ways of thinking about an age-old problem.
