Not the usual water critters - kayaking Pawtuckaway Lake in Nottingham, NH

Had a little rehab paddle for a friend and we came across something I'd never seen here before. A pair of snakes sunning themselves in some branches of trees that had fallen into the lake. You don't get a two-fer like this every day!

Kayaking the Merrimack River

We spent the day on the Merrimack River. We put in at the boat launch in Boscawen, NH and padded down to the Hannah Dustin Memorial. It was a good day on the river, we got to film our 1st eagle along with some ducks, a turtle and some pigs. The river also has an array of old junk cars that seem to have become the side of the river bed.

Concord () is the capital city of the U.S. state of New Hampshire and the county seat of Merrimack County. As of the 2010 census, its population was 42,695.Concord includes the villages of Penacook, East Concord, and West Concord.
