A Churrero Making Authentic Spanish Churros | Devour Seville
In Bar El Comercio they make what many say are the best churros in Seville, Spain. The ingredients are very simple–flour, water and salt. What is important is the quality and freshness of the olive oil, and also the skill of the man making them, or the churrero (which means the master churro maker!) Churros make the most delicious breakfast in Spain, either dunked in thick, warm chocolate, or even in your café con leche.

Our unique Spain tours consist of leisurely walks through Spain's most cherished locales: Andalucía in the south, Extremadura/Portugal in the west and Barcelona/ Costa Brava in the northeast.
It's our firm belief that the best way to experience Spanish culture is to travel through the real Spain, both ancient and modern, at a relaxed pace, with a small group (8 - 20 people) and with outstanding guides. This is the MCC selection of the week !

Gantalcalá - The European Cooking Experience
THE EUROPEAN COOKING EXPERIENCE is a Gantalcalá initiative set up within the framework of the European Programme, Youth in Action, with specific reference to the Sub-Action 1.1. The aim of the project was to bring together 55 young people between the ages of 16 and 25 from 11 different European countries so that they could discover the diversity of European cuisine based on ingredients which are common to most of the countries.
The activities took place in and around the Spanish municipality of La Rinconada (Sevilla) from 10 to 17 October 2009. Throughout the week the participants represented their countries of origin by creating one traditional dish and another more innovative one which will be used in a variety of workshops to teach the other participants.
This project promoted European cooperation, encouraging respect towards and the understanding of other cultures while safeguarding the best of European cultural diversity. The aim was to create an atmosphere of active participation promoting gender equality in an area traditionally reserved to women, thus contributing to the fight for equal opportunities.
