JAPANESE EAT ITALIAN FOOD | Abruzzo in Japan | Tokyo Food (ITALY in Shinjuku)
We all know that Italy undoubtedly is on top of the list of most travelers' wishes and Italian cuisine is appreciated all over the world. The charm of Italy is timeless, but what do people actually know about the real Italy apart from the main touristic spots and the most renowned dishes? From North to South Italy is full of hidden treasures, and Regional cuisine is the most authentic expression of the Italian culinary heritage.
Hidden Italy Tours, an emerging Travel Company based in Abruzzo (Italy) knows it well, and with the goal of making travelers discover the hidden treasures and flavors of Italy, has just started to organize a series of promotional events around the globe together with renowned chef and food blogger Vincenzo's Plate. Francesca Cichella, founder of Hidden Italy Tours, and Vincenzo Prosperi are two passionate foodies and share the same passion for their native Region Abruzzo, one of the best kept secrets of Italy.
They have started their adventure in the Land of the Rising Sun with their first promotional event Abruzzo in Japan, held in one of the best Italian restaurants in Tokyo, the Trattoria dai Paesani, the one and only Abruzzese restaurant in Japan and the Asia-Pacific area. The Trattoria, situated in the business district of Shinjuku in Tokyo, has been funded by Giuseppe Sabatino and Davide Fabiano, two passionate Abruzzesi who have brought a piece of Abruzzo in the heart of the metropolis. In just a couple of years the Trattoria has become a point of reference for all those who love Italy and Italian food.

Ramen Street Tokyo Station in Japan - Review
Ramen Street Tokyo Station is a must stop in Tokyo, Japan for those of us that like ramen. Who doesn't like ramen? ramen is a staple in Japan and to visit Tokyo or anywhere in Japan without eating some is pure insanity! Ramen Street Tokyo Station is a hot spot for some of the Tokyo's best ramen. We didn't hold back, I went with Sam and Audrey and we ordered three different types of ramen and scarfed the food down in record time. Audrey had the best one. There are like 10 or 12 different spots you can choose from once there and don't be surprised if it's packed. We found a spot with a table so we could film and got involved. I'd love to return to Ramen Street Tokyo Station one of these days for another bowl, heck we should have returned while we were still in Tokyo.
If you're visiting Tokyo, don't miss Ramen Street Tokyo Station. If you go, you'll be glad you did and very satisfied much like we all were.

Japan: How to eat sukiyaki in Japan
Sushi may be the most popular food to come out of Japan but if raw fish isn't your thing, there are many other dishes you can try. For the beef-lover, be sure to try sukiyaki on your visit to the Land of the Rising Sun. Comprised of mainly beef and an assortment of vegetables, sukiyaki is a meal you'll definitely want to try more than once.
But like many things in Japan, eating sukiyaki is not as simple as sitting down at your table and ordering it. In most restaurants, you'll be given the ingredients and will have to make it yourself.
Watch this video to learn how to eat sukiyaki at an all-you-can-eat restaurant in Japan!

Japanese cooking class at Tsukiji market in Tokyo
A Japanese cooking class with Kae Sensei, where she taught us the Japanese way of cutting yellow tail fish which we brought all the way from Tsukiji market.
Located in Tokyo, Tsukiji market is the most popular fresh market for sushi and sashimi in Japan. There are auctions for fish selling on a weekly basis, and this market is where the most expensive bluefin tuna comes from, with the final price of $1.8 million.
