La réserve naturelle de l'île de Cooper est située sur l'île de Saint-David aux Bermudes. Elle abritait autrefois une base militaire américaine et une station de suivi spatial de la NASA.
Aujourd'hui, cette réserve naturelle fait partie du réseau de parcs nationaux des Bermudes. Quelques sentiers de randonnée traversent ce parc national.
Certains nous conduisent près des plages, dont celles de Long Bay, Annie's Bay, Well Bay, Fort Hill Bay et Soldier Bay. On peut s'y baigner car la mer est très calme.
D'autres nous mènent plutôt dans les hauteurs de l'île et nous permettent d'avoir de superbes vues panoramiques de cette région.
On retrouve une tour d'observation de la faune à l'extrémité de l'île. Celle-ci offre de magnifiques vues sur la côte des Bermudes. Elle est également l'endroit idéal pour observer les baleines et les oiseaux migrateurs.
L'endroit est vraiment pittoresque. On y découvre de belles formations rocheuses, l'eau de la mer est turquoise et cristalline, les plages sont très belles.
Tous ces éléments réunis nous ont permis de vivre une belle expérience au sein de cette réserve.
La durée de la visite peut varier selon la nature des activités.

Bermuda is one of my favorite places on the planet. I've visited on numerous occasions and each time there I visit a different part of the island.
This short video is the first in a series I will be releasing on the Hidden Gems of Bermuda and this series is one of my new travel channel.
In this video, we're focusing on Cooper's Island Nature Reserve which is a located at the very north section of the island right outside of the airport.
