Me at the Dukes of Hazzard Museum (Cooter's Place) in Nashville, TN
Me at Cooter's Place (The Dukes of Hazzard Museum) in Nashville, Tennessee on August 25, 2014. Here I visit the museum showcasing memorabilia from one of the greatest television shows of all time (1979-1985)!! My visit brought back unforgettable childhood memories of Bo, Luke, Daisy, Uncle Jesse, Cooter, Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane, Boss Hogg and, of course, the legendary General Lee Dodge Charger... Yeeeee hawwwww!! ...Just a few places I've been.

More 'Cooters REBEL' Stuff, and a Long History Lesson
More 'Cooters REBEL' Stuff, and a Long History Lesson.
The Major Media hates YouTube. Even PewDiePie is being attacked and trolled by the WSJ (Wall Street Journal). Here I am showing some things I just bought from Cooter's Place in Tennessee. Ben Jones says the major media has and agenda to remove all Southern culture. I say it's much deeper than that. The 'elitist' powers aren't Liberals in any sense of the true meaning of the word. The 'elitists' are Fascist dictators and hate ordinary people that stand up for their rights. The 'Don't Tread on Me' Gadsden version of the Rebel' flags and symbol says it best and it better explains what our forefathers fought for in 1861 - 1865.
Cooter's Last Stand: A walk through the replica of Cooter's Garage!
In our third video from the Cooter's Last Stand event in lovely Luray, Virginia, take a stroll with Billie Rae Bates of BRBTV through a full-scale replica of Cooter's Garage of The Dukes of Hazzard. It's part of the new location of Cooter's Place that opened up in Luray earlier this year.
Also, check out the clip of the fab black General Lee at the event -- we swear that's either the General's evil twin or Abraham Lincoln Hogg's General!!! At any rate, that beauty gets voted best in show by BRBTV!
(Thanks to Cousin Don for the camera assist at the beginning!)
Places to see in ( Gatlinburg - USA )
Places to see in ( Gatlinburg - USA )
Gatlinburg, a mountain town in eastern Tennessee, is known as a gateway to the roughly 520,000-acre Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Many of its key attractions offer sweeping views of the neighboring park, including the 407-ft. Space Needle observation tower and the Sky Lift, a 2.1-mile aerial cable car that journeys from Downtown to the popular amusement park and ski resort Ober Gatlinburg.
Gatlinburg is a resort town located in eastern Tennessee. It is a gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Downtown Gatlinburg may come as somewhat of a shock for those on their way to a nature getaway in the national park - from the Space Needle to the amusement rides, the town hasn't necessarily chosen to embrace its nature side. That said, there is plenty of lodging, restaurants, and other amenities to make this town a useful base for exploring the park.
The town's development is closely tied to that of the national park, which was opened in 1934. While in 1912 the town had only six houses, by 1935 over 500,000 visitors were passing through the town each year, and today over 9 million people each year visit the park. The town grew quickly to accommodate the influx, but has had to deal with issues of urban sprawl and air quality as a result of the huge numbers of outsiders that pass through.
Gatlinburg is best reached by the north by taking I-40 to TN 66 SOUTH. Follow TN 66 to US 441 in Sevierville and follow US 441 through Pigeon Forge and into Gatlinburg. Gatlinburg offers a trolley that takes tourists around the town without fighting the traffic. There are several park-and-ride locations: the Gatlinburg Visitor Center has free parking and access to the purple route; the Gatlingburg Mass Transit Center (located behind the Ripley's Aquarium) offers pay parking and access to all trolley routes. The Gatlinburg By-Pass allows traffic heading into the National Park from the north to bypass the Gatlinburg business district. There are scenic vistas along this road as well. Gatlinburg Parking lets travelers reserve parking spaces online and park in various lots throughout the city.

Southern Regional Flags hard to get??, Cooter has them!!
Southern Regional Flags hard to get??, Cooter has them!!
Is the Confederate Flag, actually Confederate? Does the flag commonly know as the Confederate Flag have popularity in the South due to the Civil War (War Between the States)? Actually the answer is a resounding , NO. The Confederate Flag would be more accurately thought of as a regional flag or a Dixie Flag that represents the culture and region of the American South. When people fly the Confederate flag today, they do so as an identity of a sub-culture in the USA. Despite the political map of the USA, there does exist several distinct cultural regions in the USA with Dixie being in the South. The 'Confederate' flag is more of regional flag than anything and is also very much a facet of popular culture. The fact that the 'Confederate' flag embodies the spirit of rebellion, also contributes to it's appeal, especially during modern times of excessive regulations and myopic petty bureaucrats.
GATLINBURG TN WALKTHROUGH
Gatlinburg is a mountain resort city in Sevier County, Tennessee, United States. It is located 39 miles southeast of Knoxville and had a population of 3,944 at the 2010 Census and an estimated U.S. Census population of 4,144 in 2018. It is a popular vacation resort, as it rests on the border of Great Smoky Mountains National Park along U.S. Route 441, which connects to Cherokee, North Carolina, on the southeast side of the national park. Prior to incorporation, the town was known as White Oak Flats, or just simply White Oak.
Bordering Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg is an important tourist destination in Tennessee, with many man-made attractions. Ober Gatlinburg is the only ski resort in the state. It has eight ski trails, three chair lifts, and a wildlife encounter area and is accessible via roads and a gondola from the city strip. The Gatlinburg Trolley, a privately funded public transit system, caters to area tourists. The Gatlinburg SkyLift takes visitors up 1,800 feet to the top of Crockett Mountain, and the Gatlinburg Space Needle provides a 360-degree view of the Smoky Mountains from its 407-foot observation tower. The attraction includes glass elevators, educational exhibits on the history of Gatlinburg, a two-story arcade, and unique shows and performances at the Iris Theater.
The Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community is an 8 mile loop located on the north side of town, It is dedicated to preserving traditional mountain crafts. With over 100 artists and craftsmen, the Community is a living, breathing tribute to the history of Tennessee. The carvers, weavers, watercolor artists, casters, soap makers, potters, silversmiths and dozens of other artisans skillfully demonstrate their abilities. The Ripley's group of attractions includes Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, which opened in 1997 and features special exhibits covering subjects such as the Titanic, pirates, and the planet Mars, Ripley's Haunted Adventure, Odditorium, Mirror Maze, 5D Moving Theater, Guinness World Records, Old MacDonald's Farm Mini Golf, and Davy Crockett Mini Golf. Anakeesta is a nearby theme park named after the Anakeesta Formation that makes up many of the mountains near Gatlinburg, including Chimney Tops, Charlie's Bunion, and Mount Kephart. In Cherokee, the name means the place of the balsams and refers to high ground. The park has zip lines, chair and gondola rides to the top of Anakeesta Mountain, and a mountain coaster. Inside the park, Firefly Village has shops and restaurants. Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash Country, which are both named for Dolly Parton, are amusement parks located in nearby Pigeon Forge. Hollywood Star Cars Museum, which opened in 1996, features Mayberry's squad car, The Beverly Hillbillies jalopy, DRAG-U-LA from The Munsters, two Batmobiles, the Camaro from Charlie's Angels, and Herbie the Love Bug. Many of the featured vehicles were designed by George Barris. The Museum of Salt and Pepper Shakers houses more than 20,000 shakers from all over the world, and Cooter's Place is a free Dukes of Hazzard museum with the General Lee, indoor go-karts, and indoor mini golf. A few music and family-oriented theaters are located in Gatlinburg, including Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre for musical comedy. Christ in the Smokies uses 3D dioramas with life-size figures, music, lighting, and special effects to tell the story of Christ. Gatlinburg has numbered intersections in the core of the town. The numbers hang from traffic lights or signs and are written on official tourist maps. (A similar idea was tried in Niagara Falls, New York, after the mayor of Niagara Falls visited Gatlinburg and took the idea back to Niagara Falls. The idea was short-lived in New York and was scrapped due to budget issues.)
During the Christmas season, the entire downtown area is decorated with lights for the Winterfest Celebration that takes place from November through February. A Trolley Ride of Lights is available from early November to late January during the celebration, and a free shuttle bus traverses the city every half-hour. Because of the ease of obtaining a marriage license in Tennessee, Gatlinburg is a popular destination for weddings and honeymoons, with more than 20 wedding chapels in the town and surrounding areas.

Family Trip to Gatlinburg Tennessee
Finally. This video is finally coming out. I've been busy with work and school so enjoy this video of when I wasn't busy.
Basically, my family went to Gatlinburg for a three day vacation because we never see each other anymore. Besides being sore in a specific area for two days after a bull, I would consider this trip a success.

The Dukes of Hazzard 40th Anniversary in Nashville with REVISED EDITION just wrapped up Sundy. The cast and fans of the show all came together for a big blowout weekend hosted by Cooter's Place in Nashville, TN. There were autograph sessions for three days with the cast of the show.
