On the Edge - Copper Harbor
Probably the most intense banked curves I've ever done on a bike.
Red Trail in Copper Harbor - Mountain Biking Michigan
My friend Todd and I took a quick trip up to Copper Harbor in late June. I always enjoy a lap on Red Trail. It's mostly downhill but there is some pedaling and some fun technical sections too.

Copper Harbor Trails Fest 2019 XC Race Short
Absolutely perfect weekend for racing this year. Started a bit harder than I should have. I thought i was good until I hit a wall about 5 miles in after Pauls Plunge. After a lot of suffering and some recovery on the main climb to the lodge, I got back into my pace a little bit for the last third of the race. Finished a lot better than expected in 24th of 90+. Almost all of these passes were made on the main climb. Tried out a new tire, Maxxis Rekon, on the rear. Slipped out twice on some rock faces. Not sure yet if that's the tires fault or any water/mud leading up to that section. Almost went over the bars at the bottom of Pauls, but managed to keep it rubber side down for the whole race!
