Cougar Hot Springs near Cougar Reservoir in Blue River, OR- Adventure Guru
CLOSED- Cougar Hot Springs is currently closed, and the road that leads to the short .25 mile trail in is closed about 4.5 miles north of the hot springs. There is a $300 fine per person for violating the closure. Due to the fires in summer of 18 the cliffs/mountain is unsafe for trail use.
I hope it opens soon because it's my favorite hot spring. There is even a waterfall you can hunt down if you climb over rocks upstream for .25 miles. It is clothing optional. There used to be a cute little covered patio for you to put your belongings, but I'm not sure if it burned down.
Also, you aren't allowed to bring your dogs to the hot springs, but they can enter the trail. There is a doggie parking area where you can tie up your dogs about 30 feet from the hot springs. The horrible part about that is you can't see your dog. So, I wouldn't bring your pup.
Lastly, when it opens again there will be a ranger at the entrance collecting a $5 admittance fee.

It was a beautiful day at Cougar Reservoir and the East Fork of the Mckenzie River. Christmas Day. Cougar Reservoir is fed by two branches of the Mckenzie. The East Fork, and The South Fork. The South Fork is the main flow of the two. Terwilliger Hot Springs are located close by. Willamette National Forest, Oregon. Ok to share.
Terwilliger Falls Lagoon Near Cougar Hot Spring in Oregon HD
See a 150 foot waterfall spilling into an empty lagoon near Cougar Dam in the Willamette National Forest. Located near the McKenzie River Recreational Area, this is a great place to go on vacation, and get naked. The Terwilliger Hot Spring fee is $6 per day, per person. They don't charge by the car any longer. Are you a nudist? See you out there!

Nice Hot Springs
Camping at Crystal Crane Hot Springs
We have been camping here for years but every time we come, it is more crowded and more expensive so our stays are shorter and shorter. The springs are located about 25 miles east of Burns, Oregon.
The campground is a big lumpy field with no privacy. It is a long walk to the restroom forcing many folks to drive back and forth at night with the headlights annoying the other campers. If you should decide to walk from the campsite to the hot spring at night, the return trip is not pleasant as it tends to be cold and windy at night. Be sure to bring your own water because the water there tastes very bad even though it is OK to drink. If you camp with a pet, they will tack a $15 pet fee on top of the rather expensive $25 camping fee.
Still, if you camp there, you will likely find the experience to be relaxing and enjoyable.

That feed into Soaking mineral pools at the Lodge its quite beautiful here.Water Falls everywhere.
