Metro and Folklorissimo Festival - Brussels Vlog
Hi everyone! Here is a little video about the metro in Brussels and the folklore festival that took over La Grand Place on September 20th, 2015. Thanks for watching and enjoy! :)
Folklorissimo
This folklore festival will feature battles of the (brass) bands, a ball on the Grand-Place/Grote Markt, a parade of “giants”, a craft market, and a folk village and procession on the Saturday.
Car-free Sunday
The first one was in France in 1998. On 15/09, from 10 till 6pm we have already the 10th edition of the Car-Free day in Brussels which has become a great success. The centre becomes a giant play garden and everyone celebrates sustainable mobility! That’s true: that day, the kings of the road are rollerbladers, pedestrians, joggers, bikers and so on. Loads of activities and animation on the menu as well!
Pandrossou Street Market, Athens - Greece 4K Travel Channel
The Pandrossou Street Market in the Plaka, the heart of Athens, organized by the shop owners in cooperation with municipal and cultural institutions from the city of Athens. When leaving the Metro station Monastiraki we experience rhythmic drum-sounds which set the place into vibration. The group African Heritage of Greece plays the enthusiastic audience almost into trance.
However, we came for the Pandrossou Street Market event which takes place in the adjacent Pandrossou Street, the main shopping area of Plaka. In the 110 small shops both traditional items and souvenirs and antiques are offered. Food and drinks are served as well.
We are captivated by the colors that radiate from the shops and the tempting aroma of the spices in the street. A young man offers free water to the people passing by. Shortly afterwards, a crowd of people gather around a friendly lady from a clothes shop who invites to a Raki. We couldn't pass without tasting. The restaurant next door provides us with a taste of Greek cooking.
In front of a craft business, a pottery artist creates beautiful jugs with great dexterity from unsightly clay lumps, in a short time.
At the entrance of a shopping arcade, a dog feels a little disturbed by of the crowds of people and walks away on the street. The reason for the rush of people is found quickly, red wine is served here. On the first floor of the passage there is a restaurant from which windows one has a beautiful view of the Acropolis.
In the next cross street, traditional Pittas are made by Meliarto Shop in front of our eyes. Passers-by are invited to roll the thin dough.
Shortly before the cathedral we enjoy the excellent performance of the Greek Music Ensemble of the City of Athens.

Vienna Christmas Markets
VIENNA CHRISTMAS MARKETS - For this Vlogmas episode, I visited two Christmas markets in Vienna: Spittelberg and Rathausplatz. I had intended to visit more this night - there are a lot! - but the market at the Rathaus was so incredible and overwhelming that I didn’t want to leave.
When I asked my Austrian friends, who live in Vienna, which Christmas Market I should visit they unanimously said Spittelberg. It’s more local, with fewer tourists, and its charmingly nestled into tiny little streets that you wander through. It felt cute and intimate and I liked the smaller scale. There were food vendors but I noticed more stalls selling nice crafts and gifts than anywhere else I’ve been. It seemed like a place with unique items where you’d actually shop. I even met Santa Claus! When I told him I’d been good this year he rewarded me with a clementine and peanuts.
Next I went to the enormously grand market in front of the Rathaus or, in English, City Hall. It made me feel giddy when we first arrived because there were so many lights, people, decorations, and good smells wafting through the air. The whole atmosphere felt like Christmas in hyperdrive! Definitely what a Christmas market looks like when you picture it in your head, I think. It really delivered. I found booths of cute Vienna-inspired Christmas decor, a sausage in a bun that turned out to be filled with cheese, and a mug of traditional Glühwein or mulled wine. There was a Ferris wheel, light shows, and a large track for people to skate through the brightly-lit trees.
I thought I’d wander around more markets but, in truth, I had so much fun at the Rathaus Christmas Market that I didn’t want to leave. What did you think of this crazy Christmas market in Vienna? Do you prefer quiet and quaint Spittelberg or bright and bustling Rathausplatz?

MY VLOGMAS 2017 SERIES
This December I’m doing Vlogmas on my channel! Vlogmas is usually where you daily vlog each day of December leading up to Christmas. I’m doing my own version where I’ll upload new videos three times per week on my regular schedule (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) and each ‘episode’ will be Christmas themed from my travels in Europe! I’ll be exploring Christmas markets - and trying all the special foods - in 6 different countries and learning about unique and sometimes crazy-sounding Christmas traditions. I absolutely love this time of year. I’m looking forward to experiencing all the different ways people celebrate and sharing it with you.

Art Club Bangladesh in collaboration with Art Cart, India presents a multic-ultural fine arts
platform to develop sincere bonding across the two neighboring countries in order to
enable them to live beyond stretched conditions.
'STRETCHED CANVAS' -- a Bangla -- Indo -- Art Fair, strongly reflects the common concern of
harmonious co-existence and reciprocal development by hanging the hand picked talents
on the walls of brotherhood with colours of passion and strokes of compassion.
The defeat of separatism, terrorism, regional animosity and subsequent bloodshed is long
overdue and have prompted us to take the opportunity to engage in organizing such an

spiritual bond and long- lasting friendship.
Our hallmark and indeed our strength, is our collective identity, promoted and strength-ened
by all these agile and concerned artistic minds to make a valid point in this time of crisis. It has
been and remains a crucial factor in forging closer links amongst fine artists and more importantly,
amongst the people of this sub-continent.
Ending food waste one beer at a time | Rob Wilson | TEDxExeter
One third of all the food produced in the world goes to waste. And in the UK, 44 per cent of all the bread we bake gets thrown away. What if drinking craft beer could be part of the solution to food waste? Rob Wilson will tell you about his mission to make that dream a reality.
Rob is an award winning social entrepreneur and Chief Toaster at Toast Ale. He believes that if you want to change the world, you have to throw a better party than those destroying it. Prior to Toast, Rob led Ashoka in the UK, supporting a global network of social entrepreneurs. He founded READ International which has provided over 1.5 million books to Tanzanian children and created 100 school libraries. He co-founded Generation Change, a partnership of leading UK youth social action organisations, and Undivided, a non- partisan campaign lobbying for the best possible Brexit deal for young people.

What is Natural Selection?

Natural Selection is one of the main concepts found within the theory of evolution. It was discovered by Charles Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace though Darwin championed the idea in his book On the Origin of Species.
Natural selection can be defined as the process by which random evolutionary changes are selected for by nature in a consistent, orderly, non-random way.
When coupled with descent with modification, Natural Selection can cause a population to evolve for fitness within a given environment over multiple generations.
Natural Selection is an observable fact. By carefully observing populations of living things with short life cycles you can actually watch it happen.
