We vacationed in Croatia for seven days. Over the course of seven days we rented a car and visited Dubrovnik, Croatia, Kotor, Montenegro, and Mostar, Bosnia + Herzegovina. It was an incredible road trip. One we want to share with you. We saw all of the top sights (the wall in Dubrovnik, Lokrum Island, the Stradun, St. John's Fortress in Kotor, Stari Most in Mostar), almost killed a cow on our drive (multiple times), drank great coffee at Cafe de Alma, and met some incredible people.

Eisenbahn Perković - Split Kroatien - Dalmatinische Bahn
Die Dalmatinische Bahn in Kroatien: Von Perković führt die Eisenbahnstrecke über den Pass bei Labin über das Gebirge hinab nach Split am Meer. Neben Diesellokomotiven mit zwei Wagen kommen hier seit 2005 auch die in Deutschland als Baureihe 612 bekannten Triebwagen zum Einsatz: Die acht letzten Triebwagen aus dem DB-Großauftrag, die die DB nicht mehr abgenommen hatte, wurden damals an die Kroatische Bahn (HŽ) verkauft, wo sie als HŽ 7123 geführt werden.

Walking Route of UNESCO Plitvice Lakes in Half a Day | Croatia May 2018
We cannot emphasize enough how much difference it made to be the first few in this park, before human traffic comes pouring in, to be able to fully soak in the peacefulness and vibrancy of this UNESCO World Heritage Site and the sights and sounds it brings. We hope our video will come in useful if you've stumbled upon this video in the midst of some travel research!
This is our 4th country and third stop in Croatia in our trip through the Balkans in May 2018: Greece - Albania - Montenegro - Croatia (Dubrovnik - Split - Plitvice Lake - Zagreb ).

There are conflicting opinions on the internet on whether to purchase bus tickets online due to validation issues with the bus drivers. We didn't have any issue at all during our trips - just check with the ticket counter upon arrival if any bus station fee has to be paid before boarding the bus.

WE LOVE SINGAPORE
Since we are a travel channel, here's some facts from our (very small) part of the world - the sunny island of Singapore!
1. Singapore is not in China - we lie on the equator with an average humidity of 80%.
2. Singapore's original land mass was 581.5 sq km, expanded by reclamation to 721.5 sq km as it is today.
3. We have a population of 5.8 million.

A Boeing 737-800 aircraft from the Norwegian airline Norwegian Air Shuttle (ASA) is taking off from Split Airport, located in the country of Croatia.
The flight was from Split airport in Croatia, to Oslo Airport Gardermoen in Norway. The flight took about 3 hours.

SPLIT to PLITVICE - Croatia Travel Vlog Day 4 [ENG subs]
Day 4 of your Croatia Travel: Split to Plitvička Jezera.
We left Split in the morning even if we've wished we could stay a little longer. The bus trip took about 5h, we even had a problem with the bus and stopped in small town to wait (45-50min) for the replacement bus to come. We weren't sure which bus stop to get off so I chose the Jezerca 2 bus stop. When we arrived at the Airbnb house, we saw there was a bus stop just in front of the house which we could have got off from. We spent some time enjoying the surrounding and went to the entrance of the national park to buy tickets for the next day but you can only buy ticket the same day.
We stayed at:
- Airbnb: Dado House (Plitvička Jezera). The house is the nearest you can get from the Plitvice Lake Entrance 2 (around 20min walk). The hosts were very welcoming and kind. They have a lot of area around the house to sit and relax. We recommend them highly!
We ate at:
- The Airbnb offer dinner as service for 115 Kuna (if I remember). The meal they prepared was composed of grilled meat and vegetables. It was more than enough quantity and the taste was delicious too!
