Invasion of Carlisle
During the summer month of June 1863 Robert E. Lee and the Army of Northern Virginia invaded the North and met the Unions at Gettysburg. While on their way the invaders stumbled across the small town of Carlisle. They would eventually burn the barracks and shell the town before they left.
