How to use TFL London Cycle Hire - Santander Cycles
The London Cycle Hire scheme is a great and affordable way to get around London. Joolz shows you how to use them in this video and gives some helpful tips on what not to do.
Most Londoners call them Boris Bikes after Boris Johnson who was the mayor of London when the scheme was initiated and they have sponsors who change periodically. At time of filming it was called the Santander Cycle Hire scheme or Santander Cycles.
If you do it right you only have to pay two pounds to hire it for 24 hours but you must only use it in 30 minute stages unless you want to be charged more money.
