Rapha Travel Randonnée Japan
Starting in the megalopolis of Tokyo, this Grande Randonnée heads south through verdant, dense forests on perfect pavement, barely wide enough for a car. Joining us on this adventure, you will discover that Japan’s undulating, sometimes mountainous, terrain rivals the best anywhere in the world. The roads are tiny, nearly overgrown and plentiful in selection and a feeling of discovery will consume you as we ride.

Target : Traveling around the world
Travel reminds those paying attention that they are not the only man in the world, that this is a huge world and that they are only a small, insignificant human in it. This is quite a leisure experience – to go to another country or another state and see large numbers of peoples living differently, and coming to understand how large the world actually is. When people who learn return home, they keep with them this perspective for the rest of their life and they benefit from this is knowledge and perspective.
Another benefit to traveling is coming to see one’s native country in a different light, in a different way. This is done through being able to compare and contrast home from a foreign location, done most always through traveling. A new perspective may be formed

On December 29, the year-end holiday, I went back and forth between Ochanomizu Station and Jimbocho Station.
Ochanomizu / Jinbocho is located in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. Because it is a city where offices and universities gather, it is crowded with office workers and students on weekdays.
The day of shooting the video was a year-end holiday, so bothe university and the company are closed. Therefore, the area around Ochanomizu is quieter than usual.
You can see the state of Ochanomizu, Jimbocho, which is different from usual.

Spot No.39 - How to get to Yoyogi Park the from Meiji-Jingumae 'Harajuku' Station.
Conveniently located next to Harajuku station and Meiji Jingu shrine, the park is a popular Tokyo destination. On holidays, it is used as a gathering place for Japanese rock music fans, jugglers, comedians, martial arts clubs, cosplayers and other subculture and hobby groups. In spring, you see the cherry blossom during hanami. The landscaped park is equipped with picnic areas, bike paths, cycle rentals and public sport courts

Japan Trip 2014 Tokyo Cycling Akihabara Station Electric Town exit
Akihabara (Japanese: 秋葉原), also known as Akihabara Electric Town (Japanese: 秋葉原電気街 Hepburn: Akihabara Denki Gai), is a district of Tokyo, Japan. It is located less than five minutes by rail from Tokyo Station. Its name is frequently shortened to Akiba (アキバ) in Japan. While there is an official locality named Akibahara, which is also 秋葉原 in kanji, nearby (as part of Taitō-ku), the area known to most people as Akihabara (including the railway station of the same name) also include Soto-Kanda, a part of Chiyoda-ku.
Akihabara is a major shopping area for electronic, computer, anime, games and otaku goods, including new and used items. New items are mostly to be found on the main street, Chūōdōri, with many kinds of used items found in the back streets of Soto Kanda 3-chōme. New parts for PC-building are readily available from a variety of stores. Tools, electrical parts, wires, microsized cameras and similar items are found in the cramped passageways of Soto Kanda 1-chōme (near the station). Foreign tourists tend to visit the big name shops like Laox or other speciality shops near the station, though there is more variety and lower prices at locales a little further away. Akihabara gained some fame through being home to one of the first stores devoted to personal robots and robotics.
The area was just out of Sujikai-gomon city gate (present Mansei bridge) which was one of the city gates (Mitsuke) of old Edo (Tokyo). It was the gateway from inner Edo to northern and northwestern Japan and Kan'ei-ji temple in Ueno. Many dealers, craftsmen and relatively lower class samurai lived there.
Akihabara Station
Akihabara Station (秋葉原駅 Akihabara-eki) is a railway station located in Tokyo's Chiyoda ward. It is at the center of the famous Akihabara shopping district specializing in electronic goods.

One Fast Day in Tokyo: The Imperial Palace Gardens
Our walk continued from the Ginza into Marunouchi, Tokyo's leading business area and where the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and Bank of Japan are located. Through the business district to the Imperial Palace and across the moat to enter.
The Imperial Palace was once known as Edo Castle and belonged to the Tokugawa family. Visitors are only allowed into the Imperial section twice a year and we turned into the magnificent East Gardens with its Japanese garden, a woodland grove and trees representing Japan's 47 prefectures, trees and flowers in bloom right now; an idyllic place with no time to linger. There was a lot more to see and only one day to do it in.

One lap in running at Yoyogi Park Park
Yoyogi Park is an urban oasis close to the center of youth culture such as Harajuku and Shibuya.
A running course full of greenery is available 1.5 to 2 km per lap and several courses can be selected.
Families, couples and young people are overflowing on holidays, and the use of picnics by foreigners living in Japan is increasing in recent years.
There is a festival atmosphere throughout the year by people who enjoy drinking and snacks by spreading sheets on the central grass plaza.
