San Antonio is a pretty fun place to visit and it also has an incredible cycling scene. We caught up with Jess and a bunch of local cyclists during Fiesta. Lovely roads, super cool energy and endless choices for pre and post ride fun. One of our favourite stops was the Friendly Spot Ice House! Centrally located with an amazing selection of beer on tap and yummy food. If you find yourself in San Antonio for a few days, book Jess at

Devil's Den Grand Opening // Riding The Newest MTB Trail in San Antonio
How often do you get the opportunity to be one of the first mountain bikers to ride a brand new trail? This weekend I got that opportunity thanks to the South Texas Off-road Mountain bikers (S.T.O.R.M), REI, the Roadrunners and volunteers in the mountain biking community. After, years in the making, this new section of trails on the Leon Creek Greenway is finally open for shredding. Here's a look at what you can expect to see when visiting these trails just north of O.P. Schnabel. Thanks for watching! Don't forget to like and sub!

As the title states, this is the Last Friday Bike Ride in San Antonio
This happens every month, so come on out!
This ride wasn't the best, but it was still a good ride.
Not enough stops for alcohol if you ask me.
1st stop: H-E-B on Fredericksburg Rd. (next to Jefferson H.S)
2nd stop: Woodlawn Lake Park
3rd stop: Some lame house party (which I doubt many riders stayed for)
GoPro Hero2
I did adjust the brightness and contrast on some shots (shouldn't have..)

Driving Downtown - San Antonio 4K - Texas USA
Driving Downtown Streets - Houston Street - San Antonio Texas USA - Episode 76.
Starting Point: .
Houston Street is the name of one of San Antonio's oldest and most popular streets. Being adjacent to The Alamo where the Battle of the Alamo occurred, some buildings on the street sustained cannon fire during the war. The historic Majestic Theater is located on this street.
San Antonio, officially the City of San Antonio, is the seventh most populated city in the United States of America and the second most populated city in the state of Texas, with a population of 1,409,019. It was the fastest growing of the top 10 largest cities in the United States from 2000 to 2010, and the second from 1990 to 2000.
San Antonio was named for Saint Anthony of Padua, whose feast day is on June 13, by a 1691 Spanish expedition in the area. It is notable for Spanish colonial missions, the Alamo, the River Walk, the Tower of the Americas, the Alamo Bowl, and Marriage Island. Commercial entertainment includes SeaWorld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas theme parks, and according to the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau, the city is visited by about 32 million tourists a year. The city is home to the five-time NBA champion San Antonio Spurs and hosts the annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, one of the largest such events in the country.
The US armed forces have numerous facilities in San Antonio: Fort Sam Houston, Lackland Air Force Base, Randolph Air Force Base (which constitute Joint Base San Antonio), and Lackland AFB/Kelly Field Annex, with Camp Bullis and Camp Stanley located outside the city. Kelly Air Force Base operated out of San Antonio until 2001, when the airfield was transferred to Lackland AFB. The remaining portions of the base were developed as Port San Antonio, an industrial/business park and aerospace complex. San Antonio is home to six Fortune 500 companies and the South Texas Medical Center, the only medical research and care provider in the South Texas region.
The missions of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park along with the Alamo, became part of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites on July 5, 2015.[citation needed] The San Antonio Missions became the 23rd U.S. site on the World Heritage List, which includes the Grand Canyon and the Statue of Liberty.
Economy
San Antonio has a diversified economy with about a $96.8 billion metropolitan Gross Domestic Product. This ranks the city 4th among Texas metropolitan areas and 38th in the United States. San Antonio's economy is focused primarily within military, health care, government civil service, financial services, oil and gas and tourism sectors. Within the past twenty years, San Antonio has become a significant location for American-based call centers and has added a significant manufacturing sector centered around automobiles.
Attractions
San Antonio is a popular tourist destination, often referred to simply as SA.
The Alamo Mission in San Antonio (the Alamo), located in Downtown, is Texas' top tourist attraction. Because of the mission, San Antonio is often called the Alamo City.[53]
The River Walk, which meanders through the Downtown area, is the city's second-most-visited attraction, giving it the additional nickname of River City. Extended an additional 13 miles between 2009-2013, the landscaped walking and bike path line the San Antonio River from the Museum Reach beginning at the Historic Pearl Brewery through downtown, Downtown Reach, past the Blue Star's Eagleland to the Mission Reach ending at Loop 410 South past Mission San Juan Capistrano.[54] Lined with numerous shops, bars, and restaurants, as well as the Arneson River Theater, this attraction is transformed into an impressive festival of lights during the Christmas and New Year holiday period, and is suffused with the local sounds of folklorico and flamenco music during the summer, particularly during celebrations such as the Fiesta Noche del Rio.
Medina River Preserves, San Antonio, TX USA
It's a ride on a trail through a natural preserve that dates back 15,000 years. The trail has six switchbacks to navigate cyclists and runners over terrain that runs along the Medina River.
Filmed with a Sony Actioncam mounted to a Cannondale Rush mountain bike. Film date: 21 June 2014. Revised 15 May 2016.
