В деревне Erimi по дороге в Пафос в 2004 году был открыт музей вина на Кипре.т.к.именно здесь 5500 лет назад стали делать первое вино в Европе.Здесь собраны редкие экспонаты.Много материала о Командарии-самом старинном винном Бренде.Есть копия картины из лондонского музея о пышном пире пяти монархов,где к столу подают знаменитое кипрское вино. Примечательно,что музей является осуществлённой мечтой хозяйки,которая в течение 6 лет собирала коллекцию. В неповторимой атмосфере здесь проводятся вечера классической живой музыки под дегустацию вин.

Μόλις τρεις μήνες μετά από την πρώτη πετυχημένη θεματική συναυλία ΜΕ ΑΡΩΜΑ ΓΑΛΛΙΑΣ, η δεύτερη έκδοσή της θα λάβει χώρα στο Κυπριακού Οινομουσείο στην Ερήμη, την Τετάρτη 19 Απριλίου 2017.
Η Σειρά Συναυλιών ‘Ορχήστρα Κουμανδαρία και οι Φίλοι της’ παρουσιάζουν τρεις ταλαντούχους και δραστήριους στην κεντρική Ευρώπη νεαρούς καλλιτέχνες, την Εύα Σταύρου (φλάουτο), Μαβρουδή Τρούλλο (φαγκότο) και Κλειώ Παπαδιά (πιάνο) σε μια συναυλία με έργα των by Claude Debussy, Francis Poulenc, Philippe Gaubert and Gabriel Fauré.
Θα μπορούσαμε να πούμε πως μετά τη φωνή, τα πιο εκφραστικά όργανα είναι τα πνευστά, μια που ο ήχος τους παράγεται με την αναπνοή. Ζωτική διαδικασία για τη σωματική και ψυχική υγεία! Και τι άλλο θα μπορούσε να ολοκληρώσει την ψυχική μας ευφορία παρά η μουσική;
Αυτή την ανοιξιάτικη βραδιά, σας προσκαλούμε να αφεθείτε, με ένα ποτήρι κρασί, στους αρμονικούς ήχους των πνευστών.

CYPRUS WINE MUSEUM CULTURAL PROJECT: 'KINYRAS, KING OF PAFOS'
The Kinyras Project of The Cyprus Wine Museum started in 2009. It is a multi-dimensional project focused on Cyprus Art, Music, Wine & Perfume since the 4th millennium B.C until nowadays.
The project includes Archaeological and Art exhibitions; concerts with music composed by Cypriot composers inspired from the above theme; Publications etc.
During the past years, parts of the project where adapted occasionally for the needs of the Republic of Cyprus (such as the XIII Games of the Small States of Europe, Cyprus Presidency of the council of the EU) and also for the demanding tourist industry of the island.
In the video clip you can see the cultural event that was adapted to the needs of the American Azamara Club Cruises. The event included an oenological experience through all senses into 5500 years of Cyprus Wine History and also a journey where ancient history meets with the aromas and flavours of Cyprus through poetry set to music.

Το Πρότζεκτ ΚΙΝΥΡΑΣ του Κυπριακού Οινομουσείου άρχισε το 2009. Πρόκειται για ένα πολυδιάστατο πρότζεκτ το οποίο επικεντρώνεται στην Τέχνη, τη Μουσική, τον Οίνο και τα Αρώματα από την 4η χιλιετηρίδα π.Χ. μέχρι τις μέρες μας.
Περιλαμβάνει αρχαιολογικές και εικαστικές εκθέσεις, συναυλίες με μουσική γραμμένη από κύπριους συνθέτες εμπνευσμένα από τη πιο πάνω θεματολογία, εκδόσεις κ.α
Κατά τη διάρκεια των τελευταίων χρόνων, κομμάτια από το πρότζεκτ έχουν προσαρμοσθεί κατά καιρούς για την Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία (όπως τους ΧIII Αγώνες Μικρών Κρατών Ευρώπης, Κυπριακή προεδρία του συμβουλίου της ΕΕ) καθώς επίσης για την απαιτητική πλέον τουριστική βιομηχανία του νησιού.
Στο σύντομο οπτικοακουστικό μπορείτε να παρακολουθήσετε το πολιτιστικό δρώμενο το οποίο είχε προσαρμοστεί για της ανάγκες της αμερικάνικης Azamara Club Cruises. To γεγονός περιλάμβανε οινολογική εμπειρία δια μέσου όλων των αισθήσεων των 5500 χρόνων της κυπριακής οινικής ιστορίας καθώς επίσης ένα ταξίδι όπου η αρχαία ιστορία συναντιέται με τα αρώματα και τις γεύσεις της Κύπρου διαμέσου μελοποιημένης ποίησης.

The Cypriot wine industry ranks 50th in the world in terms of total production quantity (10,302 tonnes)., and much higher on a per capita basis. Although, chronologically, Cyprus belongs to the Old World of wine producing countries, the industry has gone through changes that place it more on par with the New World. The Cypriot composer Anastasia Guy created her circle of songs “Kinyras, Kypri and the Nereids” in 2009. This opus is part of a major cultural project of the composer and The Cyprus Wine Museum entitled “The Kinyras Project”: it contains art and archaeological exhibitions, publications and concerts.
The Circle of Songs was first performed in May 2009 during the European Nights of Museums in Cyprus and a month later during the Games of Small States of Europe in Cyprus.
In the musical work the composer meets ancient history and mythology with music set to poetry by Sappho, Pindarus, George Seferis, Odysseas Elytis and on the poetical work of Athena Charalambides.
In the songs, the Hymn to Aphrodite, the colors and the aromas of the island dominate, and the music competition between Kinyras and Apollo is the climax of the entire circle.

The Orchestre La Grande Commanderie de Chypre (Commandaria Orchestra) was established in 2009 by The Cyprus Wine Museum and is part of its cultural project “Kinyras”.
The appellation of the Orchestra directly references to the origin of The Commandaria Wine, the “sweet-drink of Cyprus” which has 3500 years of written history and also to the region where the Orchestra and The Cyprus Wine Museum are based, the Great Commandery of Cyprus. The Sovereign, Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint John of

Jerusalem had their headquarters there, where they built the famous La Grande Com- manderie de Chypre today known as Kolossi Castle.
The Commandaria Orchestra’s main target is the implementation of the visions of The Cyprus Wine Museum, including the spread of the musical culture of Cyprus, as well as of works from the classical repertoire, directly connected to Greek history and mythology.

Commandaria Orchestra’s Concert in Antique Style presents compositions for string orchestra, based on thematic material (fragmented or in its entirety) from medieval secular music. The composers’ sources were early music manuscripts, folk music tradition, etc.
Τhe Commandaria Orchestra
The Commandaria Orchestra was established in 2009 by The Cyprus Wine Museum. The appellation of the Orchestra is directly linked to the region where The Cyprus Wine Museum is based, at the Great Commandery of Cyprus which was founded by the Order of Saint John. Commandaria is also the universally unique sweet wine of Cyprus. The Orchestra’s main target is to spread the musical culture of Cyprus. Its rich repertoire includes masterpieces from the medieval ages until nowadays.

Η Συναυλία σε Παλαιό Ύφος της Commandaria Orchestra, παρουσιάζει θεματικά έργα για ορχήστρα εγχόρδων, για τα οποία οι δημιουργοί τους αντλούν αυτούσιο ή μεμονωμένο θεματικό υλικό από τη μεσαιωνική κοσμική μουσική. Οι πηγές των συνθετών μπορούν να είναι μουσικά χειρόγραφα της εποχής, λαϊκή μουσική παράδοση κλπ.
Ορχήστρα ΚΟΥΜΑΝΔΑΡΙΑ
Ιδρύθηκε το 2009 από το Κυπριακό Οινομουσείο.
Το όνομα της ορχήστρας οφείλεται στην τοποθεσία που βρίσκεται το Κυπριακό Οινομουσείο, στο ιστορικό διοικητικό κέντρο της Μεγάλης Κουμανδαρίας, το οποίο ιδρύθηκε από το τάγμα των Ιωαννιτών Ιπποτών. Κουμανδαρία ονομάζεται, επίσης, το μοναδικό στον κόσμο γλυκόπιοτο κρασί της Κύπρου.
Η Ορχήστρα έχει ως στόχο τη διάδοση του λόγιου μουσικού πολιτισμού της Κύπρου. To πλούσιο ρεπερτόριο της περιλαμβάνει έργα από τον μεσαίωνα έως τις μέρες μας.
