The riverside offers boat rides and beautiful street lights and decorations. All this lends the city a real festive atmosphere all year round.

This Vietnam Travel Guide is part of my Vietnam series and we start episode 1 with things you need to know before you go to Danang as well as things you need to know before you go to Hoi An Vietnam. Da Nang Beach and the Danang Beach resorts are popular destinations and I will help you navigate through the city and give you my favorite tips and tricks. My Da Nang travel tips are based on what I wish I knew before coming to Da Nang Vietnam as well as Hoi An Vietnam. There are many things to do in Da Nang but I wanted to focus on the differences of each area, what each specific area offers and general things you must know when coming to danang for the first time. In fact, Da nang is the fifth largest city in Vietnam and located central part of the country. IT is locate don the cost of the South China Sea and is one of the most important ports in Vietnam.
There are more seafood restaurants options by the Da Nang beach area, like the ones where you get to pick out the live seafood from tanks or buckets and then staff will weigh it out in front of you. I personally enjoy this process andI think it’s more reasonably priced. So if you’re like me, this beachside may be your best choice

Walking Along Han River, Da Nang, Vietnam
The Hàn River (Sông Hàn, or Hàn giang; 汗江) is a river located in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam. It originates in Quảng Nam Province and empties into the South China Sea at Da Nang.
There are plenty of hotels, eateries along this stretch and certainly provides a good view. Not forgetting the famous Han Market that is along the stretch.

Since we are new to the city we figured it would be a good idea to do a little tour to better acquaint ourselves with the area. Our guide was a student from a local university and gave us an intro to some attractions. We think Da Nang is beautiful and this tour was a great intro to the city!

The Museum of Cham Sculpture in Da Nang
With their roots dating back as far as 192 AD, Vietnam's indigenous Cham people lived an Indian way of life in both culture and language. The Cham Museum in Danang is dedicated to this period and the Champa existence which began predominantly in the coastal areas of Vietnam. Housing the largest exhibition of Cham sculpture in the world, the museum displays almost 300 terracotta and stone works of art ranging from the 7th to the 15th centuries.
