Welcome to Hoops City! Today we are premiering the VHSL Class 2 Boys Basketball State Championship game that was played on March 9, 2018.
The game featured future Georgetown signee Mac McClung, future Elon signee Zac Ervin and rising Gate City senior for 2020 Bradley Dean as the leaders of the state champion Gate City Blue Devils from Gate City, Virginia.
This game was the culmination of a very successful 28-2 season as the Gate City Blue Devils played in front of packed out crowds all season long from Lee County to Bristol and from Salem to Richmond.
