Future Site for Memorial Sculptures
This shows the future site of my 2009 obsesion. When I first saw the Veterans Memorial on 101 constructed by Point Man Ministries a few years ago I saw 2 soldiers standing between the flag poles guarding the memorial indefinately...
So now the Veterans society Point Man Ministries has accepted my praposal as well as ODOT & we will be gathering for the opening weekend of the State Fair in Oregon in Salem where I will sculpt the Military Guards out of Western Red Cedar. It will be done at the State Fair & the sculptures will remain at the fair for the full 2 weeks until I return from the Masters in Hope Canada to bring the sculptures back home to Coos Bay/North Bend to finish & concreete to the ground in there final resting place, between the flag poles overlooking the bay ...

Brookings Fly Over by the U.S. Coast Guard
The Coast Guard conducts an over flight of Brookings, Ore., Friday, Mar. 11, 2011, after the Mar. 10, 2011 earthquake near Japan causes a Tsunami to strike the West Coast. All five Group Air Station North Bend HH-65C dolphin helicopters and 12 Group North Bend's 47-foot motor lifeboats were in the air and at sea, prepositioned along the coast, ready for search and rescue and damage assessment.
