Domesday Book is coming to Lincoln Castle

The announcement that Domesday Book will be coming to Lincoln Castle in the summer of 2017. The book, commissioned by William the Conqueror in 1086, will be hosted in the David PJ Ross Magna Carta Vault inside Lincoln Castle - which was first built under the same ruler. Lincoln Castle one year anniversary

The one year anniversary since the re-opening of Lincoln Castle and the new David P J Ross Magna Carta vault is marked with a special celebration with a Lincoln Castle cake and a visit from King John himself.
