Belle Isle Racing 2015!
Racing around Belle Isle Park Between Detroit and Canada! Weeeeee. This is X10 speed. So if we were going 20mph, it looks like 200mph. Very fun in a Chevy truck.
Belle Isle Park, is a 982-acre (1.534 sq mi) island park in the Detroit River, between the United States mainland and Canada. Owned by the City of Detroit, it is managed as a state park by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources through a 30-year lease initiated in 2013.[1] Belle Isle is the largest city-owned island park in the United States and is the third largest island in the Detroit River after Grosse Ile and Fighting Island. It is connected to mainland Detroit by the MacArthur Bridge.
The island is home to the Belle Isle Aquarium, the Belle Isle Conservatory, the Belle Isle Nature Zoo, the Detroit Yacht Club on an adjacent island, the James Scott Memorial Fountain, the Dossin Great Lakes Museum, a Coast Guard station, a municipal golf course and numerous monuments. It also previously housed a Nature Center where visitors were able to traverse wooded trails and view wildlife natural habitats, a former Belle Isle Zoo, riding stables and the Detroit Boat Club. The island includes a half-mile (800 m) swimming beach.

MONSTER TURTLE ATTACKS BIG ALLIGATOR - The Alligator Snapping Turtle
Deep in an east Texas swamp a 300 pound creature ambushes in large alligator from underneath. What swamp creature could bully an 8 foot alligator? For licensing contact hankschyma@yahoo.com
The alligator snapping turtle is one of the heaviest fresh water turtles in the world. Bolt cutter shaped jaws mounted on a boulder of a skull suggest you need to keep your hands and fingers at a distance.
This alligator snapping turtle is estimated to be about 150 years old and around 300 lbs. Raphael as the locals call him has been head honcho here below the restaurant since the 1980's and was probably likely sharing the planet with Charles Darwin, Ulysses S Grant and Billy the kid.
Alligator snapping turtles almost never come out of the water and are extremely shy. If you see a snapper, the odds are its the Common Snapping turtle, a much much smaller animal.
Big Sky Montana Luxury Real Estate For Sale 338 Grey Drake Road Big Sky Properties
- Big Sky Montana luxury real estate for sale brings a masterpiece post and beam architecturally designed home to market on 338 Grey Drake Road. This fine luxury property is listed with Ernie Hal, Broker of Big Sky Properties.
This 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom home is 3,672 square feet offering a huge vaulted great room with stacked stone fireplace and post and beam construction giving the home the cozy feel of a ski chalet. This piece of real estate is situated on a little over 4 acres of prime land near the Big Sky Town Center.
There are high-end custom finishes throughout this Big Sky home which is located just one mile from the Big Sky Town Center.
The recreation in this area is virtually limitless with fly fishing and rafting on the Gallatin River, Yellowstone National Park less than one hour away, skiing at Big Sky resort, hiking, mountain biking and a whole host of outdoor recreational activities.
Montana's busiest airport, Yellowstone International, is just one hour away as is the city of Bozeman which offers a diverse array of shopping and Montana State University serves as a cultural and economic driver.
The privacy of this home tucked in and amidst 4-plus acres of trees makes for a very private and secluded location. Yet, you are less than one mile from the Big Sky Town Center, Ousel Falls hiking trail, mountain biking and golf. All of the Big Sky cultural events including the 4th of July fireworks and Big Sky Rodeo are less than a mile away.
Let’s not forget the skiing. Big Sky began in 1974 and has expanded and grown into America’s biggest skiing, with more total acreage than any ski resort in the U.S. and the biggest vertical drop. The other nice thing about Big Sky is that it has been less populous when compared with other Western destination resort alternatives like Jackson Hole, Park City, Deer Valley and Sun Valley. They call Montana “the last best place” for a reason.
The fly fishing here is unparalleled anywhere in the lower 48 States, in fact, you would have to go to Alaska to find anything more pristine and untouched.
The nearby Taylor Hilgard wilderness, Lee Metcalf wilderness and 3 million-acre Yellowstone National Park create a buffer that is unparalleled anywhere in the country, this place cannot grow wild like so many resorts have.
If you would like further information about 338 Grey Drake Road or any Big Sky real estate then simply contact Ernie Hall of Big Sky Properties at 406-539-8585.

Staten Island () is a borough of New York City, coterminous with Richmond County, in the U.S. state of New York. Located in the southwest portion of the city, the borough is separated from New Jersey by the Arthur Kill and the Kill Van Kull and from the rest of New York by New York Bay. With an estimated population of 479,458 in 2017, Staten Island is the least populated of the boroughs but is the third-largest in land area at 58.5 sq mi (152 km2). The borough also contains the southern-most point in the state, South Point.
The borough was referred to as the Borough of Richmond until 1975. Staten Island has sometimes been called the forgotten borough by inhabitants who feel neglected by the city government. The North Shore—especially the neighborhoods of St. George, Tompkinsville, Clifton and Stapleton—is the most urban part of the island; it contains the designated St. George Historic District and the St. Paul's Avenue-Stapleton Heights Historic District, which feature large Victorian houses. The East Shore is home to the 2.5-mile (4 km) F.D.R. Boardwalk, the fourth-longest boardwalk in the world. The South Shore, site of the 17th-century Dutch and French Huguenot settlement, developed rapidly beginning in the 1960s and 1970s and is now mostly suburban in character. The West Shore is the least populated and most industrial part of the island.
Motor traffic can reach the borough from Brooklyn via the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and from New Jersey via the Outerbridge Crossing, Goethals Bridge and Bayonne Bridge. Staten Island has Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) bus lines and an MTA rapid transit line, the Staten Island Railway, which runs from the ferry terminal at St. George to Tottenville. Staten Island is the only borough that is not connected to the New York City Subway system. The free Staten Island Ferry connects the borough across New York Harbor to Manhattan and is a tourist attraction which provides views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and Lower Manhattan.
Staten Island had the Fresh Kills Landfill, which was the world's largest landfill before closing in 2001, although it was temporarily reopened that year to receive debris ...
