Murder Mystery on The Tennessee Central Railway Train Who Done It...
This is a Murder Mystery shot on the Tennessee Central Train Valentines Day Excursion to Watertown, Tennessee. This a Typical Murder Mystery with some twists and turns that almost go off the rails... Enjoy...
Christmas on the Tennessee Central Line
On the first two Saturdays of December, the Tennessee Central Railway Museum held its annual North Pole Express excursions for four sold out crowds who rode the trains to meet Santa. Until they actually boarded the train, they were entertained by Nathan, Andrew, Stephen, Jeff and myself, with our wide range of HO Scale model trains. My camcorder shows some of our trains running around the TCRM's layout, as well as the departure of the real trains heading for the North Pole. Add a little bit of TM Books and Video nostalgia into the mix, and here is the end result.
From all of us at the Tennessee Central Railway Museum, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year!
Riding the Tennessee Central Railway Museum towards Downtown
This is the view on the south side of the train, starting at the Tennessee Central Railway Museum in Nashville, Tennessee and running to under the Korean Veterans Bridge over the Cumberland River. This is from the car just behind Thomas the Tank Engine.
The museum operates trains on the Nashville & Eastern Railroad. The NERR operates the portion of the old Tennessee Central that was later run by the L&N.

E Unit Idling - Tennessee Central Railway Museum
6902 is idling smoothly at the Tennessee Central Railway Museum at the head of a long line of stainless steel passenger cars. At the far end of the train is Thomas the Tank Engine.
6902 is regularly used on the museum's excursions, along with the museum's F7B pair and GP7 (and sometimes NERR GE locomotives).
The museum operates on the Nashville and Eastern Railroad. The NERR is a shortline formed for the portion of the Tennessee Central Railway that L&N operated after the TC failed in 1968.

Riding the Front of an E8 - Tennessee Central Railway Museum to Downtown Nashville
Take a short ride on the nose of E8 6902 on the Nashville and Eastern Railroad. The E unit is pulling this train from the museum to downtown Nashville, and then shoves back to the museum. Thomas the Tank engine is on the other end as part of the museum's Day Out with Thomas. The train stops just short of the Music City Star's Riverfront Station.
The locomotive is running slowly, but when it's on the museum's regular excursions it's often leading the trains at track speed.
The Tennessee Central Railway Museum offers excursion on the Nashville and Eastern Railroad. The NERR operates the portion of the Tennessee Central Railway that was taken over by the L&N when the TC failed in 1968.
E8A Cranking Both Engines - Passenger Diesel at Tennessee Central Railway Museum
E8 6902 is cranked and idles on a cool Saturday morning. This former New York Central locomotive fires right up, starting with the rear prime mover. This locomotive regularly leads excursions for the Tennessee Central Railway Museum, operating on the Nashville and Eastern Railroad. The pattern of the paint is based on E7 locomotives used jointly by L&N and NC&StL, with the dark blue replaced by maroon. Nashville's Broadway Dinner Train painted locomotives this way.
