Delhi, India is a true CURRY HEAVEN, and we traveled here to go for this DEEP Street Food tour of Old Delhi! The Food Ranger (Trevor James) is in India eating Street Food! This walk through Old delhi truly was an AMAZING STREET FOOD ADVENTURE with delicious curry, amazing restaurants, and with so much tasty and UNIQUE Indian food recipes for our huge Indian dinner.
If you love eating street food around the world and street food in India, or even all over Asia, you will love the street food in Old Delhi. You can find street food everywhere, where everyone seems to cook delicious Indian recipes for curry and SPICY dishes all over the street.
In one day in old Delhi, India, we had 7 delicious street foods all made in the halal style.
We started out the day with an AMAZING ramadan experience at the largest Mosque in Delhi, Jama Masjid. We picked up a ton of different Indian street foods to bring to the mosque and break the fast with all the locals. We shared the delicious food, and then went back to the streets of Old Delhi to try more food.
The first food we had on our street food tour was the Delhi Fried Chicken, DFC, covered in Indian spices like masala and mustard. It was extremely JUICY and PLUMP!!!
Afterwards, we tried more BBQ chicken and then went for a nice Indian dinner cooked by one of the locals in Old Delhi. His family recipes were passed down to him and his food was legendary! We ate Indian Chicken Biryani and chicken korma curry along with Buffalo Korma along with Kameeri Roti! It was absolutely delicious!
After this, we went to the LEGENDARY Changezi chicken joint that invented the recipe for this juicy and flavour packed chicken curry dish!
To finish of the day, we went for some delicious BBQ Seekh Kebabs, extremely flavourful!!

Protests in Indian Kashmir's main city of Srinagar turned violent on Aug. 30, as demonstrators clashed with security personnel as tensions escalated in the Himalayan region, which was stripped of its autonomy earlier in August.
Hundreds of locals staged a protest march after Aug. 30 afternoon prayers, against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to withdraw autonomy for Jammu and Kashmir on Aug. 5.
Security forces were seen using tear gas to disperse the angry demonstrators.
Thousands of paramilitary police were deployed in the streets of Srinagar to quell protests stemming from India's move to revoke a special status for the territory.

Locals in Delhi flock to India Gate despite chilly winters
New Delhi, Dec 29 (ANI): Despite the intense drop in North India’s weather, people came out to enjoy the weekend at India Gate in Delhi. Locals were draped in thick woolen layers to protect themselves against cold breeze. The minimum temperature in national capital was recorded at 3.4 °C on December 29. On December 28, Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issues a ‘red’ warning for Delhi as the cold weather conditions continued to persist.

Old Delhi is a food lovers heaven! It's been the best Street Food I've tasted in India! The Indian food is so good in Delhii! I've eaten street food in Chennai, street food in Hyderabad, Indian street food in Kerala, and street food in Mumbai, all of which has been amazing!

India: Locals frustrated as fire breaks out again in New Delhi factory building

Locals expressed frustration with the government's response to the recent deadly factory fire in New Delhi on Monday as another fire broke out in the same building.
Sandeep Suri, who lives close-by to the factory, described a cycle of similar issues, saying when something happens like this then the new one comes. He described dissatisfaction with the government, saying when it comes to action, they do nothing.
Local shop owner Kasim Kamali called on the government to financially support the families of the victims, saying it would be really helpful for the relatives.
The fire broke out in a four-storey building near Sadar Bazaar, the largest and busiest market in the Indian capital. According to reports, more than 100 people were sleeping inside the complex at the outbreak of the fire around 05:00 local time on Sunday (23:30 GMT Saturday). The fire reportedly took almost three hours to extinguish as the firefighters had difficulties accessing the site because of the area's many narrow alleyways with kilometres of electrical wire.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the fire extremely horrific on Twitter. My thoughts are with those who lost their loved ones. Wishing the injured a quick recovery, he wrote, adding Authorities are providing all possible assistance at the site of the tragedy.

According to the FIR filed by relatives of the student, it is being alleged that the locals used to tease him over his identity and when he opposed it, the locals mercilessly beaten up by the locals.

Millions of masks have been issued to students in New Delhi as the Indian capital continues to be engulfed in thick smog. Air pollution in the city and surrounding towns have reached some of the worst levels seen so far in 2019.Authorities say the smog is caused by fireworks set off during a Hindu festival during the last week of October, and smoke from farmers burning their fields in neighbouring states.On November 1, 2019, the authorities declared a public health emergency and ordered the closure of schools until November 5, 2019.

We found so many delicious Indian foods, like breakfast kachori, delicious kulfi ice cream and Indian chaat, and more, like spicy chickpea curries and huge vegetarian Omelettes! To finish off the day we went to Delhi's most famous curry and spicy chicken restaurant, Rajinder Da Dhaba.
It was here at Rajinder da dhaba that we entered true curry heaven and spicy chicken heaven. We found some delicious spicy chicken tikka and spicy chicken curry. It was life changing!
After the amazing spicy Chicken curry and tandoori kebabs, we went to one of Delhi's most famous muslim neighbourhoods to enjoy tons of muslim Indian street food for Ramzan.

23-year old beaten to death by locals in New Delhi
Police in India's capital New Delhi say a Congolese national was beaten to death by three locals. The incident took place in the city's plush Vasant Kunj area on Friday night when the man identified as Masonda Ketanda Olivier got into an argument with the accused over hiring a three-wheeler auto-rickshaw. The war of words got ugly and one of the accused thrashed Olivier with a stone.

The best way to get to Agra from Delhi is to take the high speed train which is called the Gatiman Express. It take's only 90 minutes to get to Agra. The train runs everyday (except Friday) at 8:10 am.
When I arrived Shanoo my Tours by Locals guide picked me up and took me straight to the Taj Mahal. This is the most beautiful building in the world! It is my 4th wonder and it was truly amazing!
After that we went to Handicraft Marble Industries to see how the same families that made the Taj Mahal still put inlays in to marble. This is definitely a must visit after seeing the Taj Mahal.
Lastly we headed to Fatehpur Sikri a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is located around a 45 minute drive South West of Agra. Fatehpur Sikri was founded as the capital of Mughal Empire in 1571 by Emperor Akbar, serving this role from 1571 to 1585. It was abandoned in 1610. If you have two days in Agra then you have to go visit Fatehpur Sikri!
