I'll be honest, we got ourselves quite a lot of footage while we were visiting Mammoth Cave National Park. Sorry this isn't immediately diving directly into the cave itself, but I promise a video with some tours involved is in the works as well!

[Wikipedia] Mammoth Cave National Park
Mammoth Cave National Park is a U.S. national park in central Kentucky, encompassing portions of Mammoth Cave, the longest cave system known in the world. Since the 1972 unification of Mammoth Cave with the even-longer system under Flint Ridge to the north, the official name of the system has been the Mammoth-Flint Ridge Cave System. The park was established as a national park on July 1, 1941. It became a World Heritage Site on October 27, 1981, and an international Biosphere Reserve on September 26, 1990.
The park's 52,830 acres (21,380 ha) are located primarily in Edmonson County, Kentucky, with small areas extending eastward into Hart County and Barren County. It is centered on the Green River, with a tributary, the Nolin River, feeding into the Green just inside the park. With 405 miles (652 km) of surveyed passageways Mammoth Cave is by far the world's longest known cave system, being over twice as long as the second-longest cave system, Mexico's Sac Actun underwater cave.

Exploring Mammoth Cave
Exploring Mammoth Cave at Mammoth Cave National Park was scary for our fulltime travelling family of 5! We embarked on the Mammoth Cave Domes and Dripstones tour, down a tight staircase into the cave. The entire tour was about two hours. We stayed in our 5th Wheel RV at the Diamond Caverns Thousand Trails, just minutes from the national park entrance. Cave City Kentucky is also close by for amenities.

Mammoth Cave: A Place Called Home
In the heart of South Central Kentucky, Mammoth Cave National Park is a draw for people from around the world. This area holds the longest known cave system in the world and a rich history of family and community that reaches back generations. The people living in the Mammoth Cave area had a unique bond with those around them and to the land that would one day become a national park. Mammoth Cave: A Place Called Home is a tale of communities lost and a National Park gained as a legacy to those who knew and loved the cave and for those who would come after.
Renfro Valley RV Park - Renfro Valley, KY.
We stopped at this Passport America facility on our way back from Indy. The $18 rate was very welcome as was the full hook-up, pull through site close to the restrooms. The restrooms were clean and it was a quiet night. The grounds are populated by the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame with theatres and music venue buildings. There are also other buildings built in the cabin style of the period of the origins of that style of music. Very interesting grounds even though nothing was open yet. There is a tunnel under the main highway that allows access to the restaurant without having to cross the traffic area. One unique feature of this campground is the speaker system installed inconspicuously throughout, broadcasting the calls of songbirds.
