Paddling to the Lighthouse
Follow along as we take a little kayak trip along the Kennebec River in Maine. We paddle from our little marsh across the river to the Doubling Point Lighthouse, then along the Arrowsic shore past the Fiddler's Reach Fog bell tower to the Range lights. The Range lights are a pair of lighthouses which line up to show the channel up the river.

Mistake Island is an island in Washington County, in the U.S. state of Maine. The island contains little vegetation. Mistake Island has been noted for its unusual place name.
Moose Peak Light stands high atop Mistake Island. The lighthouse is closed to general visitors.
The island's name has become a subject of joke through internet memes, particularly in regards to someone's place of birth.

These are the twin lighthouses in Cape Elizabeth, ME. Located near the Two Lights State Park just outside of Portland, Maine you can find these two lighthouses nestled in the southeast part of Maine. We opted out of music for this video so you can bask in the beauty of the lighthouses during a sunset to your own soundtrack.
Do forget to pack a lunch or dinner and stop and get some incredible seafood from the Lobster Shack. They're open from 11:00am to 8:00pm (8:30 in July and August.) Ridiculously reasonably priced, you can find their online menu at:
