Top 4 Cities with the Worst Water Systems in United States
Hey Guys!
In this video I'm going to show you 4 of the worst Cities in the USA to drink water from.
4. Crystal City, Texas
In this city — also known as “The Spinach Capital of the World” — already seized by corruption, the water has literally been running black. One woman told a CNN affiliate that Crystal City’s water “looked like black sludge. They were comparing it to oil — that dark.” According to CNN, residents didn’t get any sort of notice or warning about the dangerous water before it suddenly turned dark. The city claimed it happened because of built-up sediment in the water tank that then leaked into the water. But state and city officials are still offering conflicting information about whether the water is OK to consume. Given the looks of that nasty “black sludge,” we’d probably go with no.

3. San Diego, California
Located on the Pacific in Southern California, San Diego is the country's eighth-largest city. According to California's Department of Public Health, San Diego's drinking water system contained eight chemicals exceeding health guidelines as well as two chemicals that exceeded the EPA's legal limit. In total, 20 contaminants have been found. One of those in excess of the EPA limit was trihalomethanes. The other was manganese, a natural element that's a byproduct of industrial manufacturing and can be poisonous to humans.

2. New Orleans, Louisiana
In 2015, a “brain-eating amoeba” was detected in the tap water in St. Bernard Parish (just a few miles from downtown NOLA). This was the second time the deadly Naegleria fowleri had popped up, after first rearing its ugly head a couple years prior, according to Newsmax. Still, officials attempted to reassure residents that the water was safe to drink: “As Naegleria fowleri infections are extremely rare, testing for this amoeba in public drinking water is still relatively new and evolving. Fewer than 10 deaths in the United States have been traced back to the amoeba, with three occurring in Louisiana over the last several years.” They did warn people to not let the water go up their noses, however.

1. Hoosick Falls, New York
As America’s favorite whistleblower Erin Brockovich wrote in TIME, the town of Hoosick Falls, New York, allegedly has dangerous water — it’s contaminated with Perfluorooctanoic acid, or PFOA, a chemical used to create Teflon. Though the chemical can apparently already be found in the bodies of almost every American, Brockovich and Ken Cook note that it compounds inside your system and can cause cancer and reproductive issues. In fact, a local Hoosick Falls resident learned of the high levels of PFOA in the town’s water supply after noticing how many folks had been stricken with cancer there. In December, the EPA officially warned locals not to drink the water.

Hopitoulas was the third addition to our year-round beer portfolio. This 6.5%ABV ale is a West Coast style India Pale Ale that combines six malts and six hops with additional dry hopping for three weeks. It takes about a month and a half to make each batch and we think it is worth the wait. Hints of pine and citrus with a powerful, yet balanced hoppy flavor, Hopitoulas packs a punch that you won't forget. Available on draft and in 16 ounce cans.
