Videos can use content-based copyright law contains reasonable use Fair Use ( She’s definitely not going to be roughing it like most felons! The Federal Correctional Institution, Dublin (FCI Dublin), where convicted felon Felicity Huffman asked to serve her 14-day prison sentence, is so cushy it’s dubbed amongst the locals as “Chateau Dublin,” according to a source. “The community came up with it because it’s more like a luxury retreat than a prison. Also, they came up with a moniker so they didn’t have to refer to it as a prison,” the insider told RadarOnline.com exclusively. It was even referred to as “Club Fed” in 1998 and in 2009 Forbes named it one of America’s “10 Cushiest Prisons.” Huffman’s attorney Martin Murphy asked Judge Indira Talwani to make the recommendation for Huffman to spend her sentence in FCI Dublin. “It’s the closest to Ms. Huffman’s residence,” Murphy said in court. The final decision will be made by the Bureau of Prisons. It’s located in the tony San Francisco suburb of Dublin, CA and surrounded by million-dollar homes. The all-women’s low-security prison not only has one of California’s most expensive zip codes but also “cool ocean breezes, floor to ceiling windows without bars, private rooms with televisions and computers, and acres of gardens.” “There’s a grand gated entrance with understated security and hidden cameras replace barbed wired fences,” the source explained about the prison where Huffman asked to be assigned. “Past the gates you’ll find high-tech private bungalows for the inmates with the most advanced technology such as solar panels and motorized shutters.” With only 14-days to serve after she pleaded guilty in the college admission scandal, Huffman would hardly have her freedom truly taken away. “Prisoners are free to roam the grounds and saunter into the lobby which includes a library stocked with classics and a grand piano,” the source said. “Inmates would be free to work off site at one of the many area cultural centers such as the Dublin Heritage Park and Museums, a 10-acre park with historic buildings, and lawns. Some have even enrolled in local area college classes. “Those who are worried about Felicity should be rest assured that doing time at Chateau Dublin is as easy as the breeze that wafts through the open windows,” the insider told Radar. Patty Hearst and Heidi Fleiss have also served time at the all-women’s prison. Other A-list amenities include art classes, crochet and knitting, and horticulture. Even more over-the-top, source says inmates have been permitted to bring their own luxury bedding and linens. “If prisoners don’t like the items for sale on the prison’s commissary list, they can order what they want,” an insider told Radar. “The inmates have a ton of freedom.” The source adds that “cashmere ponchos,

Nuulliit archaeology 2015
Nuulliit has been one of the key sites to our understanding of the prehistory of Greenland ever since Erik Holtved’s excavations in the 1940s and Eigil Knuth’s excavations in the 1950s and onwards. The part of the site shown is where Holtved did his most of his excavations and not only produced pioneering Alaskan-style Inuit material (e.g. was is probably the Arctic’s oldest well-preserved gut-skin parkas and toboggan) that was unequalled for many years, but the Nuulliit site was also very important in establishing the basis of our archaeological understanding of the chronology of the prehistory of the eastern Arctic.
The film provides a great view to the landscape in which the site is situated, to the general state of the site (it slowly but steadily eroding into the Sea), and to where the 2015-excavation were done.

No 162.San Francisco Historic streetcar_Mar.02.2013
San Francisco Municipal Railway (1950s)
Built 1914 • Operational
This streetcar represents the last days of Muni's original streetcar fleet. Streetcar No. 162 joined Muni's fleet when automobiles were still a novelty, and was retired — the first time — in the days when automobiles ruled the country, tail fins and all.
No. 162 is painted in its last Muni livery, the Postwar 'Wings' introduced at the end of the 1940s and kept until the retirement of the car in 1958. Like its twin, preserved car No. 130 (in 1939 blue and gold livery), this car ran on virtually all of Muni's streetcar lines, spending much time on the H-line along Van Ness and Potrero Avenues and through Fort Mason.
After its initial retirement, No. 162 spent 45 years at the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Riverside County before being reacquired in 2003 by Market Street Railway and Muni. Market Street Railway volunteers replaced the roof canvas and made a number of body repairs to the car. It then went to Muni's shops in 2004, Muni crafts workers completed the restoration, including required safety and operational modifications, returning the car to regular service in 2008.
The large size and long-term reliability of No. 162 make it a workhorse of today's historic fleet, and very popular with San Franciscans of the Boomer Generation who remember it from childhood.

Chippokes Plantation State Park ~ Surry, VA ~ RV & Tent Campsites Preview
A preview of the EXCELLENT campsites hidden away in Surry, Virginia at the Chippokes Plantation State Park, a working plantation. This campground is just south of Jamestown / Williamsburg on the south side of the James River.
This a true Virginia gem! You have wonderful beach access to the James River (tidal section), as well as a true Olympic-size swimming pool with 12' deep diving area. The Chippokes Mansion is a nice tour, as well as the Farming & Plantation Museum full of yester-year equipment, tools, and lifestyle displays. All within a nice bike ride away from one of the most private, cleanest campgrounds we have been to yet in Virginia. Virginia State campgrounds are some of the best I have seen anywhere, but Chippokes is up near the top... And it is out of the way enough to be quiet and private! We highly recommend this State Park!

Columbus, Ohio, once spent $95 million to help celebrate Columbus Day. Now, it’s canceled.
Columbus Day, Christopher Columbus, statues, Indigenous Peoples Day
Joggers enjoy the sunshine as they run next to the Scioto River in Columbus, Ohio. (Jay LaPrete/AP) By Meagan Flynn Meagan Flynn Morning Mix reporter Email Bio Follow October 8 In 1992, an 88-acre park a couple of miles from downtown Columbus, Ohio, transformed into a floral wonderland. The six-month exhibit was like a cross between a horticulture-obsessed version of Disney’s Epcot and a miniature World’s Fair, featuring a waterfall, a rose garden with 130 varieties, a display of grasses from almost every continent on earth and a “community of nations garden” that “has got to be one of the main roads of heaven,” as The Washington Post described it then. It was for Christopher Columbus, billed as America’s “centerpiece” celebration marking the 500th anniversary of his voyage to the New World in 1492. Boycotted by Native Americans, who called attention to Columbus’s abuse of indigenous people in nationwide demonstrations that year, the Ohio celebration came at a price of $95 million. But this year, the explorer’s namesake city in Ohio is saving a little money: Columbus has canceled its observation of Columbus Day altogether. The mayor’s office announced the decision in a brief, unceremonious news release Friday, avoiding the politics that have traditionally accompanied changes to the controversial federal holiday in other cities. The mayor’s office has said this decision is not connected to the nationwide movement to rename Columbus Day as Indigenous Peoples Day because of Columbus’s enslavement and exploitation of native people. Instead, it is because the city lacks funding to give its 8,500 employees the day off on both Columbus Day and Veterans Day, mayor’s office spokeswoman Robin Davis told The Washington Post early Monday. So, the city chose Veterans Day. “We chose to close on Veterans Day instead of Columbus Day to honor those who have served our country,” Davis said, adding that this will be the first year Columbus closes for Veterans Day on Nov. 12. “In order to be good stewards of taxpayer money, we did not feel it was prudent to add an additional paid holiday.” Columbus Day has been a federal holiday since 1934. But numerous cities and states have ditched celebrating it since 1992, when Berkeley, Calif., became the first city to rename the holiday Indigenous Peoples Day in favor of recognizing Native Americans. Cincinnati is among the most recent jurisdictions to rename the holiday Indigenous Peoples Day this year after two failed attempts. “This won’t change history totally, but we’re at the point where we realize calling it Columbus Day is completely wrong,” said Cincinnati City Council member Tamaya Dennard, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported. President Trump’s proclamations for Columbus Day this year and in 2017 have lacked any acknowledgment of the plight of Native Americans, in contrast to former president Barack Obama, who noted in his 2015 proclamation that we “also recognize the suffering inflicted upon Native America

Running Anvil Ranch Carriage Museum
This video is an expansion of my Boy Scout Eagle Project, that I am doing for my Senior Project. The Olympic Peninsula, in Washington State, is home to the Running Anvil Carriage House in Montesano. The Carriage House contains over thirty carraiages from local history, and entire walls filled with memoirbilia.
My Eagle Project was to digitally document the carriages. My Senior Project is to expand upon my Eagle Project, and make it far more accessible to people world-wide.
The videos of this project will show only a select few of the carriages. Each carriage has a colorful history, and one could spend a day or two listening to the stories of their ever growing collection.
Thus, I proudly present the Running Anvil Ranch Carriage Museum. Enjoy
