Vietnamese Architect Vo Trong Nghia – Greening the City
Vietnamese Architect Vo Trong Nghia's project – Greening the City of Ho Chi Minh by Al Jazeera
Be sure to SUBSCRIBE to see a new Architecture theme each week!
Vo Trong Nghia attempts to return greenery to Vietnam's choking cities and design affordable homes for poor communities.
This film follows Nghia as he tries to find support for his vision to create a vertical farming city; and at the same time to implement low-cost housing solutions for those left behind by Vietnam's economic boom.
Green architecture helps people live harmoniously with nature and elevates human life by embracing the powers of the sun, wind and water into living space. If the current way of thinking does not change, sooner or later citizens will actually live in concrete jungles. For a modern architect, the most important mission is to bring green spaces back to the earth.

BETTER THAN SAPA? - Beautiful MAI CHAU VALLEY, VIETNAM
Mai Chau Valley is one of Vietnam’s hidden gems. Most tourists head to Sapa to see the beauty of the Vietnamese Countryside, but Mai Chau is actually 3 hours closer to Hanoi. So I wanted to see which one better: Mai Chau or Sapa?
You can experience Mai Chau Hoa Binh in a day trip, but we spent 2 days cycling around the rice fields and beautiful scenery.

How To Be An Eco Friendly Traveler | Halong Bay Tourism Impacts
In this video I give you 10 tips (plus a bonus tip) on how to become an eco friendly traveler. First, I explain issues concerning environmental impacts on Halong Bay, Vietnam. Halong Bay, Vietnam, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is the most beautiful place I have ever been to. I went there in March of 2018 and was truly blown away =. With its gigantic karst mountains and surreal landscape, it is breathtaking, but it has has its fair share of issues concerning environmental impacts related to tourism. I was fortunate to meet with Long Hong Pham, a distinguished professor of tourism studies at Vietnam National University in Hanoi. Long gave me some very interesting information about the environmental impacts on tourism in Vietnam, and it was a pleasure spending an afternoon with him. If you ever have questions about tourism in Vietnam, be sure to contact him! He is a great guy.
This entire video was shot by me in Vietnam, including all of thew drone footage. The majority of the video is drone footage in Halong Bay, but there are also some clips in central and southern Vietnam.
Here is a citation of the academic article from which I drew most of the information about Halong Bay and tourism impacts:
Lloyd, Kate, and Carla Morgan. Murky waters: Tourism, heritage and the development of the ecomuseum in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. Journal of Heritage Tourism 3.1 (2008): 1-17.
This channel is for people of all ages who are passionate about exploring nature, viewing wildlife, and learning about the environment. My name is Eddie and I'm a 28-year-old wildlife biologist from California. I have an MSc in Ecology and have been to four continents to seek and study wildlife. I hope to inspire naturalists by providing content that everyday people can use to enhance their experience observing nature in the field. Nature activities I cover are birdwatching, herping, wildlife photography, snorkeling/scuba diving, hiking, ecotourism-travel, and much more. This includes app and gear reviews, tips for spotting and identifying wildlife, travel guides for wildlife tourism, and fun lessons about natural history, ecology, and conservation. Whether you travel across the world or step into your own backyard, exploring nature is always an adventure, so subscribe to immerse yourself in Adventure Education!
Hanoi to Sapa by Bus- It NEVER Came
What a ridiculous time trying to get form Hanoi to Sapa by bus! Never in my life have I been stood up by a bus lol
After we figured out how to actually get from Hanoi to Sapa it was pretty easy. This was our first sleeper bus experience in Vietnam and we were really impressed! Although it was terrifyingly close to the edge the entire time we were on the side of the mountain, the views and hill sides were stunning. I love riding motorcycles and although we lost autonomy with the sleeper bus, I think it was the best way to get to Sapa. Greenbus did a great job at keeping everything clean and giving timely updates every chance they got. When planning your trip to Sapa, Vietnam, Greenbus is the best way to get there.
As always thank you so much for watching!

About Us!
If you had told me a year ago that we were going to sell all of our stuff to start backpacking the world, I would have called you a liar. Decisions like the one we made start with an inflection point. A point where you realize that life can never be the same anymore. After a challenging, and painful year in 2017, we decided we needed to go out and live the life we wanted to live, instead of watching it on someone else’s YouTube Channel. We had given everything we had, physically and emotionally, for other’s dreams and were ready to work that hard for ourselves. From rock bottom, Chase for Adventure was born.
The Chase Begins
We moved in with our parents, sold everything we own including our cars, and paid off $70,000 worth of debt. We worked 70hrs/week over the last year trying to save up $15,000 to make our dreams come true. Now, we are travel journalists who showcase the beauty in different cultures and inspire others to chase their dreams through our YouTube Channel and website Chase for Adventure. We want to show others that if they want something bad enough, they’ll figure out how to get it; show people who are struggling that they can make the light at the end of their tunnel. Chase for Adventure is more than just a travel vlog and blog; it’s the chronicles of what it’s like to have a dream and do whatever it takes to attain it.
