Mountains on Hwy 64, Eagle Nest New Mexico
My iPhone4 is a piece of junk. Why was the volume so bad? (I didn't have my finger on the speaker.) Anyway, those mountains are not too shabby and MIGHTY PURTY!

Steve & Ashley G.'s Review on The Dyrt:
▶︎ Beautiful Mountain Lake
This is one of the nicest state parks we have visited. Eagles Nest is about 20 miles west of Taos near the Carson National Forest. The campground is on the west side of a beautiful lake I the town of Eagles Nest. This is one of the most beautiful places in Northern New Mexico and well worth the visit. The campground caters to the RV and boating community. They have first class facilities including two boat launches, group meeting venues, and a huge visitors center. The facilities are well maintained and have been recently upgraded. The sites are spacious but exposed with no tree cover or privacy. The view more than makes up for these negatives. The altitude of the site provides for a nice summer climate and a frozen winter park near top class downhill skiing. You will need to make reservations well in advance to get a spot at this popular venue. They are typically full throughout the weak. They have fresh water, dump station, and nice site amenities.

Description
The Journey Continues Across New Mexico
Left Golden Eagle RV Park in Eagle Nest New Mexico, took the North loop to Red River then down to Taos and then South to the KOA North in Bernalillo, New Mexico. Stayed there for a couple of days to get a hot water heater changed out and a few other things done to the RV. We used Affordable RV Service in the Albuquerque area, Gene the owner was very dependable, knowledgeable and very Professional. Here is a link to his web site if your ever in the area and need a great Mobile Service Tech.
Left there heading West on I-40 to Red Rock Park which use to be Red Rock State Park but now City owned located in Church Rock, New Mexico.
Here is a short video of some of the scenery we saw on the way , Hope you enjoy. Don't forget to Subscribe if you like what you see, Thanks for watching.

New Mexico
As I made my way through New Mexico along Highway 64, I was completely stunned by the almost claustrophobic feel of the trees at lower elevations then just a few miles later views like this one.
