Earls Court is a very vibrant, well-connected area in terms of transport attracting many visitors from far flung places across the globe thus resulting in a rather International community.
Located in the southwest corner of zone 1 on the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines, Earl's Court is in a great location with easy access to other parts of the city centre as well as The West End and Southwest London and is located within The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
It is an inner-London district centered on Earl's Court Road which is a busy road full of many different types of shops and restaurants. The restaurants are diverse and mainly specialise in Indian, Chinese and Tai cuisine among others.
Earls Court is very well known for it's leisure and social venues and there are pubs and bars aplenty including the famous Trubador Venue which has played host to many up and coming bands since the late 50's early 60's who would then go on to become famous.
For high end fashion simply take a stroll up Earls Court Road to High Street Kensington where you will find most of the retail fashion brands that you would expect to find including a cinema and a large department store.
For greenery you would need to take a walk down one of the side streets off the main roads to where you will find various squares such as Earls Court Square, Redcliffe Square, Nevern Square and Philbeach Gardens., however, most of these Squares and gardens are only accessible to the local residents. The properties on the square are often very well presented with tall pillars on either side to the door way, ornate balconies above and large windows giving it a very gentrified feel of grandeur.
Being a resident and living in an Earls Court apartment you would likely enjoy high ceilings, plenty of natural light flooding your home and possibly a small ornate balcony upon which to sip your coffee and read the Sunday papers.
There also a number of purpose built buildings with a private entrances and lifts leading up to various floors or more sought after portrered blocks in the area, some of which span three blocks long and are set within landscaped gardens.
Earls Court also borders the sub-districts of South Kensington to the East, West Kensington to the West, Chelsea to the South and Kensington to the North. It is home to the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, one of the country's largest indoor arenas and most popular concert venue.
Families with young children are drawn to the area to be within the catchment area of certain schools such as Bousfield School on Bolton Gardens. People move to Earls court for work or study or to have a base such as a crash pad or pied a terre. It is also a very popular area for property investors as there is a high demand for rental property in area. It is a melting pot with many an artisitic leaning among the community. Indeed, some famous residents of Earls Court have been film maker Alfred Hitchcock, actor Stewart Granger, singer Freddie Mercury from the band Queen, singer and performer Gary Barlow from boy band Take That and Diana Princess of Wales.

Some Info About Earls Court:
Near upmarket Kensington, Earls Court combines leafy Victorian residential squares, chain hotels, hostels and busy commercial streets. Office workers and young international travellers mingle in the fast-food joints and old-school pubs lining Earls Court Road. Culture lovers catch intimate pop and rock performances at the iconic Troubadour coffee house and contemporary plays and musicals at the Finborough Theatre.
On the western edge of central London, Earls Court is best known for being a popular place for visitors to stay (there’s a hotel on every corner) and for having the most confusing tube station in the city (why I do I always end up on the wrong branch of the District Line?).
But despite its convenient location near the museums in South Kensington, Earls Court isn’t always an obvious place for me to meet friends or discover more of London. Which is too bad, because there are a lot of things to do and places to go in the area.
Some Info On Kensington Garden:
Kensington Gardens, once the private gardens of Kensington Palace, are among the Royal Parks of London. The gardens are shared by the City of Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and sit immediately to the west of Hyde Park, in western central London. The gardens cover an area of 270 acres.
Currently, the palace is the official London residence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Other residents include Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, Duke and Duchess of Kent and Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Areas of Kensington Palace are open to the public. Visitors can walk through the King's State Apartments, the Queen's State Apartments and the Gardens. There are also exhibitions plus a shop and The Orangery cafe.

History of Kensington Palace
King William and Queen Mary asked Christopher Wren, the architect of St Paul's Cathedral, to turn Nottingham House into a palace. His extension is largely what you see today.
The clerk of works, Nicholas Hawksmoor, was told to do the job quickly and cheaply so that's why Kensington Palace was built with bricks, rather than stone.
It was completed in six months and William and Mary moved in on Christmas Eve 1689. Over the next few years, the couple added a gallery, the Queen's Apartments and a new entrance. They opened the gardens to the public on Sundays when they went to Richmond.
Mary didn't have long to enjoy her new palace because she died from smallpox in 1694. In 1702, William fell off his horse, broke his collar bone and died a few days later.
Queen Victoria was born at Kensington Palace and lived here until 1837. Diana Princess of Wales had an apartment at the palace from 1981-1997.

The rather prestigious and hotly anticipated event happened just over a week ago. Thousands and thousands of film, television and comic fans descended on Earls Court to mix it with the stars, dress in incredible costumes and, of course, visit our vaping stand!
We were lucky enough to have a booth from which hundreds of people had their pictures taken with us, learnt a little about the e-cigarette world and even purchased a mod or two! This is the first night (July 6, 1977) of the 2 night concert (July 6 and 7, 1977).
