Just north of Terra Nova National Park is the Eastport Peninsula. Eastport was historically a farming community and there are still a lot of vegetables grown there. Today, Eastport is better known for its two beaches than its carrots. We had a great hike at low tide exploring tidal pools between the two sandy beaches. To our delight we found jelly fish, sea stars, and for our first time hermit crabs.

I spent my Anniversary which was an Amazing day with my better half down around the Eastport Peninsula, Sandy Cove North Side Beach.
What a beautiful spot, it was overcast but I still got great footage, definitely going back to this place on a Sunny day...so there will be a part 2 to this video :)

Eastport Pirate Festival: Invasion of Lubec
Paramotor scout for pirate armada. 3 September, 2011. Eastport is an island town in Maine along the border with Canada. This was the 6th Annual invasion of Lubec. The flight was bumpier than I expected the ocean air to be, probably due to an incoming front. I flew with a reserve and an agama flotation tube.
