Gokyo Lake resides in Sagarmatha National Park with another five lakes. Sagarmatha National Park is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The Gokyo lake system is naturally vulnerable, as it is lying in an ecologically fragile and unstable zone. The outburst of Ngozumpa glacier is always a threat to the existence of the lakes. This is where the roof of the world touches sky”. – National Geography
The Gokyo Lakes route fulfilled its promise in every way imaginable. Many visitors-including those who have also been to Everest base camp-call the 360-degree panorama at the summit of Gokyo Ri (ri is the Tibetan for mountain) the finest mountain vista in Nepal. The view from peak is spectacular. There is the vast Ngozumpa Glacier, the longest glacier in Nepal. Beginning in ice and snow, it grinds down to an immense moraine of rubbly rocks, dotted with small pools-some as bright green as the lakes just below us, some still iced over and glassily reflecting the clear blue sky and long streaming clouded. Then of course, there's Everest' and the fluted ridge of the vast ice wall anchored at either end by the high peaks of Lhotse and Nuptse; the jutting spires of Makalu; and, showiest of all, the crenellated contours of Cho Oyo, the world's ninth highest peak, as it dominates the landscape with its massive bright white, glacier-accented bulk.

Story of a monstrous flower made of plastic wastes
This movie is a message from Monstrous Flower made of plastic wastes in Kathmandu, Nepal. SOMNEED (MuranoMirai) is a Japanese NGO working on Community Development Programs in Nepal, Japan, Senegal and Capacity Development Programs (Training) in several Asian and African countries.SOMNEED NEPAL with technical support from SOMNEED (MuranoMirai) has been working a project named “Strengthening Community Action through Environmental Education and Community-Based Environment Protection Activities” since 2012 till now (2017).This monstrous flower art is a part of these activities by introducing new life to plastic wastes, which aims at promoting the understanding among the school children, of the ecology and reduction of the waste in their life at school as well at home. The art exhibition was organised on 10th December 2016 at G cafe, opposite to Boudha main gate, Kathmandu, Nepal. This program is funded by Japan Fund for Global Environment.
SOMNEED Nepal

Mura no Mirai
===Message from Devendra, Basnyat (SOMNEED NEPAL) ===
SOMNEED NEPAL with technical support from SOMNEED (MuranoMirai) has been working a project named “Strengthening Community Action through Environmental Education and Community-Based Environment Protection Activities” since 2012 in Boudha, Jorpati and Gokarneshwor areas.
So far we have worked with 26 schools, with their students and parents, and 600 households of nearby communities, by conducting trainings to school teachers in charge of environment, organizing field lessons for the students and parents along the Bagmati River, introducing the waste segregation system in the schools, publishing 9,000 copies of sub-textbook “Bagmati-ji” for the environmental education, construction of 3 Community-based decentralized waste water treatment systems, making of waste management action plans and monitoring by community people.
This monstrous flower art is a part of these initiatives by introducing new life to plastic waste, which aims at promoting the understanding among the school children, of the ecology and reduction of the waste in their life at school as well at home.
===Message from Ashina Watanabe, Artist ===
I, Ashina Watanabe would like to thank Akashganga International Academy, Uttar Bahini Boarding School and Swarna Shikshya Secondary Schools along with SOMNEED NEPAL and SOMNEED (MuranoMirai) that allow me to be a part of their “Community-Based Environment Protection Activities”. It was a great experience for me to challenge plastic waste in such a creative manner.
This mysterious monstrous flower was born out of plastic waste.
Children from the above said schools and a community women group (Eco-Rangers in Gokarneshwor) have given a new life to the waste.
First plastic wrapping from various packages such as milk, oil, biscuit, noodle, shampoo etc. were carefully washed and cleaned. Next they were classified according to their colors, then were cut into “scale shape”. This flower is covered by these scales as are the reptiles and the fish.
The idea of this monstrous flower was stemmed from scary stories the children of these three schools narrated. Their drawings and essays on “scary experience in my life” were the core of my inspiration. There were various scary experiences such as Nepal Earthquake 2015, ghosts in the forest, snakes, bus accidents etc. This flower symbolizes their fear.
The Monstrous Flower expresses both light and darkness. Plastic has brought us bright and convenient life in one hand, but on other it may swallow our lives.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
An auto rickshaw is a motorized development of the traditional pulled rickshaw or cycle rickshaw. Most have three wheels and do not tilt. An exception is in Cambodia, where two different types of vehicles are called tuk-tuks, one of which (also known as a remorque) has four wheels and is composed of a motorcycle (which leans) and trailer (which does not).
The auto rickshaw is a common form of urban transport, both as a vehicle for hire and for private use, in many countries around the world, especially those with tropical or subtropical climates, including many developing countries. Bajaj Auto of Pune, India is the world's largest auto rickshaw manufacturer.
