The house is surrounded by a peaceful park and little forest that give you a sense of being outside of the city. Neighbors stop by while you stroll to say Kon-Nichi-wa (Hello in Japanese), lively Japanese children playing games, little puppies smiling at you.
This is a beautiful Japanese residential city house with a terrace on the second floor overlooking a big green park and forest in the middle of Tokyo...yes a miracle. So you can enjoy both the bustling cosmopolis as well as come back home and heal yourself.
The house is decorated in a stylish cosmopolitan way yet it has a resort feeling to it.
The private room is a spacious 7 tatami room with western flooring and a double sized bed for you to relax after your day in the city. The room is on the first floor which is convenient when you have heavy luggage. The name of the room is SAKURA as there is a beautiful SAKURA (Japanese Cherry Blossoming Tree) art wall that allows you to remember the beauty of Japanese nature and art.
But if Asian art, inspiration and even meditation is what you are looking for, or even if you are only up to being positively surprised, The Main Actor Art Wall Mural on the second floor will leave you delighted. You just have to see it.
Living room-dinning room-kitchen, bathroom-toilet and bar are on the second floor. Yes you read right :-) we have a small bar where you can enjoy a drink while enjoying our new LG 4K+ curved and stylish TV connected to the wifi so you can enjoy the videos you took from your day trip or your favorite music videos directly from your smartphone as well :-) Your room is also equipped with a digital tv on the wall for you to enjoy it from the coziness of your own privacy.
The terrace on the second floor faces a big green park directly next to us and is very relaxing.
If you visit us during summer, you can also have a fun day at the Toshimaen Water Amusement Park only two stations away. The Toshimaen Park also boasts an all-year-round hot springs relaxation Japanese spa, again only two stations away.
Luis, your host, is an amenable and kind man who was born and raised in the similarly cosmopolitan Mexico City and who has been doing various types of yoga and healing practices for over 15 years, therefore knowing the importance of having a balanced experience (fun & healing) while traveling, having travelled around the world himself.
Toshi, his partner, is a big hearted Japanese local with a big smile. He is also a nurse.
Caramelo and Tony are our two baby boy-puppies and they are full of love waiting for you.
The bathroom facilities are clean and modern. The kitchen is fully equipped too.
The house is centric which is something all our guests find very convenient.
