Eintracht-Stadion is a multi-purpose stadium in Braunschweig, Germany.
It is currently used for football and American football matches and is the home stadium of Eintracht Braunschweig and the New Yorker Lions.
The stadium is able to hold 24,406 people and was built in 1923.
Up to the early 1920s, Eintracht Braunschweig played its home games at Sportplatz an der Helmstedter Straße, which held 3,000 people. The need for a bigger stadium lead to the construction of the Eintracht-Stadion, located at the Hamburger Straße in the northern part of the city, one of Braunschweig's main arterial roads, in 1923. The new stadium was opened on 17 June 1923 with a friendly against 1. FC Nürnberg. In 1955, the Eintracht-Stadion hosted the final of the DFB-Pokal, the German Football Association Cup, between Karlsruher SC and FC Schalke 04. Karlsruhe won the match 3–2.
Originally, the stadium held up to 24,000 people, but with the introduction of Germany's new nationwide Bundesliga in 1963, the capacity was increased to accommodate 38,000 spectators.
In 1981, financial difficulties forced the club to sell the stadium to the city of Braunschweig. Subsequently, the stadium's official name was changed into Städtisches Stadion an der Hamburger Straße (Municipal Stadium Hamburger Straße). The stadium was renovated again in 1995, reducing the capacity to 25,000.
In 2008, a group of local companies bought the naming rights to the stadium from the city and changed the name back into the original Eintracht-Stadion.
From 2009 until 2010 the northern stand was roofed and expanded. From 2011 until 2013, the stadium was under reconstruction again, this time the main stand was modernized. The stadium's official capacity was reduced from 25,540 to 24,406.

Oktober 2018 ihre Studierenden im Eintracht-Stadion – und wieder bei schönstem Herbstwetter und in bester Laune. Danach ging es zur Infobörse am Zentralcampus. Übrigens: Rund 4.100 Studienanfängerinnen und Studienanfänger beginnen im Wintersemester 2018/19 ein Bachelor-, Master- oder Staatsexamensstudium an der Carolo Wilhelmina.

23.100 Zuschauer, darunter etwa 3.500 Gästefans, kamen am Samstag ins ausverkaufte Eintracht-Stadion, um das Drittligaspiel zwischen Eintracht Braunschweig und dem 1. FC Magdeburg live zu erleben. Und den Zuschauern wurde sowohl auf den Rängen, als auch auf dem Rasen ein Spektakel geliefert.
In der Südkurve zeigte die Ultraszene von Eintracht Braunschweig eine Choreografie zum 124. Geburtstag der 1895 gegründeten Eintracht. Bei der Choreografie waren die beiden Gründungsmitglieder Johannes Runge und Carl Schapers zu sehen. „Mit einer Textzeile eines Vereinsliedes - welches vom 1. Präsidenten des BTSV (1895-1900), Karl Stansch, verfasst wurde - bilden beide Einträchter, platziert neben einem abgeänderten Ordner der Schwarzen Schar, das heutige Geschenk zu 124 Jahren Eintracht Braunschweig. Carl Schaper trägt hierzu eine Pickelhaube mit einem Totenkopf des Regiments aus Braunschweig, besser bekannt als die Schwarze Schar. Unter Führung von Herzog Friedrich Wilhelm zogen sie nach dem Gefecht bei Ölper im August 1809 in die scheinbar aussichtslose Schlacht gegen Napoleon. Diese Symbolik des Zusammenhalt und der Verbundenheit mit unserer Geschichte und dem Braunschweiger Land verkörpern für uns die Mentalität des geforderten Kampfgeistes für ein gemeinsames Ziel auf dem Platz, auf den Rängen, auf der Straße sowie in unserer Gemeinschaft!“, erklärten die Braunschweiger Ultras auf einem Flyer den Hintergrund der gezeigten Choreografie.
„Einig, unerschütterlich stehen wir verbunden“, lautete die Liedzeile aus der alten Vereinshymne, die am Samstag in Großbuchstaben vor der Südkurve hing. Dahinter wurden der Leichtathlet Johannes Runge sowie Carl Schapers mit Pickelhaube am Dach der Tribüne hochgezogen. Germany: 170 hooligans arrested as riot police break up fight between football rivals
One Hundred and seventy football hooligans were arrested as riot police managed to prevent a prearranged fight between arch rival fan groups of Eintracht Braunschweig and Hannover 96, at a building supplies store parking lot in Hildesheim on Friday.
More than 400 riot police officers, dozens of police vehicles, as well as a helicopter, were deployed to the parking lot after receiving an anonymous tip off, just as both sets of fans were supposed to clash on the eve of a fixture between their teams.
The Lower Saxon derby between Eintracht Braunschweig and Hannover 96, will take place at the Eintracht-Stadion in Braunschweig on Sunday.
