Do you believe in ghosts? Are you intrigued by local history? According to many, the ghosts of Pancho Villa and John Wesley Hardin roam parts of downtown El Paso.
Take a trip with us to two haunted El Paso locations and hear firsthand accounts of paranormal experiences from employees that work in these buildings. First stop is the downtown El Paso Public Library which was built on a cemetery, and then we visit Southwestern General Hospital which was once a mental asylum.

A Preview of El Paso’s Ghost History Part 1
Today I invite you into the ghost history of El Paso, TX. The sights of downtown El Paso hide a lot of history that is unknown. El Paso’s history is diverse and unique. It can be traced back 400 years. The most interesting history of El Paso for me is from 1860’s thru 1910. The old west frontier did not die at 1900 like most historians claim. It lingered for awhile after the turn of the 20th century. Today the ghosts of the past wonder around downtown telling us a unique story El Paso has to offer. Take a ghost tour and learn the history of El Paso. The history you don’t learn in school.

Ghost Stories of El Paso Volume 2 trailer Oct 7 09
Just in time for the Halloween season, the new film Ghost Stories of El Paso Volume 2 presents El Paso history as only spirits can tell it. Viewers go on ghost tours with psychics who talk to spirits and the spirits talk back at some of El Pasos most historic locations.
The film is a followup to Capstone Productions successful 2008 film Ghost Stories of El Paso, Volume 1. The new film, Volume 2, presents all-new stories and visits more locations, including the Ysleta Mission and a mine shaft in the Franklin Mountains.
Ghost Stories of El Paso, Volume 2 goes inside a haunted building on Fort Bliss, and finds ghosts at the L&J Café and Monteleones restaurant. In San Elizario, a psychic confronts a legend about Billy the Kid and the local jail. The program also visits Concordia Cemetery, the Magoffin Home and Sunset Heights Grocery.
Ghost Stories of El Paso, Volume 2 is not intended to prove or disprove ghost stories, but to explore some of the legends and folk tales that are a part of El Pasos rich history.
