Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site Visitor Centre
Proposed visitor centre for the 'Old Stone House' and 'Clergue Blockhouse' site in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. They are the two oldest stone buildings northwest of Toronto, an important part of Canadian History, and rare example of Georgian vernacular architecture. Animation produced by Richard Smith for Chris Tossell, Architect.
It's a very low-quality video (reduced from 300MB to 7MB!). The text you can't read at the beginning is:

10 Charles Ermatinger
Charles Ermatinger was a fur trader of Swiss Heritage who, in 1814, built a stone house in Sault Ste. Marie that survives to this day. He and his Anishnaabe wife Mannanowe (pleasing voice) raised their family there.
Charles is the 10th of 18 historical songs that explore people and events in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada between 1622 and 1870. The set of songs and videos is called Voices from the Gathering Place because the Anishnaabe, (Ojibway), referred to Sault Ste. Marie as the gathering place as it was often a meeting point for trade, clan and family connections.

Speaker 7 - Alison Deplonty
The Moral of the Story is...
Alison is an Archaeology MA candidate at the University of Western Ontario (or Western University as it is now called). Her research relates to the contrasting narratives at play at the archaeological site museum Huaca de la Luna near Trujillo, Peru; and how these narratives affect visitor experience at and understanding of the site. She has worked at Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site in Sault Ste. Marie, and Banting House National Historic Site of Canada (where she continues to volunteer). She is a huge fan of storytelling and has enjoyed many hours creating/writing stories with her friends.
Since she was 9 or 10, she has whole-heartedly believed that the best and cutest animals, anywhere, are bats.
