EUROPA-ROSARIUM Sangerhausen - Beautiful Roses with Relaxation Music
Letztes Jahr konnte ich endlich das faszinierende EUROPA-ROSARIUM in Sangerhausen besichtigen (Sangerhausen ist eine der ältesten Städte in Sachsen-Anhalt). Ich war wirklich erstaunt über diese Vielfalt an Rosen: Mehr als 8300 verschiedene Rosenarten werden auf fast 13 ha präsentiert! Der Garten selbst ist wunderschön und vor allem im Juni sehenswert, wenn die meisten Blumen blühen. Es gibt auch ein Arboretum (mit ungefähr 250 Baumarten und Sträuchern), einen kleinen Kräutergarten, und natürlich ist es auch möglich Rosen und Souvenirs zu kaufen.
Natürlich kann ich in diesem Video nur ein paar Eindrücke von diesem überwältigenden Blumenmeer zeigen...
Wer Rosen liebt, für den ist das EUROPA-ROSARIUM ein absolutes Muss!

Last year I visited the fascinating EUROPA-ROSARIUM in Sangerhausen (one of the oldest towns in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany). I was really amazed about the great variety of roses: more then 8.300 different rose cultivars are presented, on an area of nearly 13 hectares! The garden itself is very beautiful and especially worth seeing in June when most of the flowers are in blossom. There is also an arboretum (with about 250 types of trees and shrubs) and a little herb garden, and of course it is possible to buy roses and souvenirs.
Of course I can show in this video just a few impressions of this stunning sea of flowers...
If you love roses, you must visit the EUROPA-ROSARIUM!

Deutsches Rosarium GRF im Westfalenpark Dortmund
Das Deutsche Rosarium GRF ist mit seinen Gärten und Rosenpflanzungen entlang des ausgedehnten Rosenweges Bestandteil des Westfalenparks.
Es umfasst eine Rosensammlung von rund 2.600 verschiedenen Sorten und Arten. Das Deutsche Rosarium GRF ist aber noch viel mehr als das: Es präsentiert die Rose auch in Verbindung mit Stauden und Gehölzen in den unterschiedlichsten Gestaltungsideen.
Rosarium 2000+ - Schloss Ippenburg
In den Gärten von Schloss Ippenburg wachsen Rosen in unzähligen Variationen. Mit dem Rosarium 2000+ wurde 2013 ein einzigartiges, lebendiges Rosenmuseum angelegt. Die mit viel Leidenschaft zusammengestellte, umfangreiche Pflanzensammlung umfasst ausschließlich Züchtungen des 21. Jahrhunderts - vergleichbar einem Museum für zeitgenössische Kunst.

The Rosarium is the oldest and largest rose garden in Northern Germany.
Established in 1929 and originally designed by landscaping architect Berthold Thormählen, Mathias Tantau and Wilhelm Kordes, the rosarium covers at present over seven hectares more than 35,000 roses and 1020 various rose varieties in all gradations of color and aroma nuances presented.
Situated next to the town hall, next to a pond, enjoying the park not only his day guests with this fragrance and bloom that is aesthetically and economically equal estimable .
The individual species are summarized in a predominantly geometric arrangement in flower beds and well-tended lawns around the mill pond. In a colorful show staggered planting bed, - - a wide range of old and new park, is climbing and standard roses presented.
Lovely groundcover roses and low bush of roses can be found here.
The spacious water surface gives the rose garden a unique flair. The bird life here is a preferred habitat.
The Small Plates in the flowerbeds has information how the rose is called, rose varieties, breeders and year of origin.
The Rosarium is the best place for the rose lovers.

Rose Celabration - first edition at Eutopia Gardens Rosarium
After 4 years from beginning the construction of Eutopia Gardens, we decide to iniatiate an annual festival, in the first weekend of each June, dedicated to roses.
Participants from schools and rose lovers around whole country.
