AnalogPlanet's High End Munich 2018 Coverage, Day 4
In previous years, day 4 was either a leisurely walk-through in case something analog was missed—important or otherwise, or it was time to leave early and go home. Not this year.
There was so much new analog gear to see and cover that there hardly was enough time to catch it all in four days and day 4 turned out to be as hectic and event filled as were days 1 through 3.
The day began in the Acoustical Systems room where Dietrich Brakemeier's oversized Apolyt turntable played for the first time at High End Munich. Previously it was shown as part of a static display.
That was just the beginning of a day's worth of good catches and interesting analog finds as you'll see in this video

This video is about travelling by Airport metro (S-bahn) from Munich International Airport to Munich City. This journey by S-bahn usually which takes around 35 minutes to reach Munich Hbf (Munich Main Station) from Munich Internation Airport.
The one way ticket price from Munich International Airport (München Flughafen) to the Munich main city costs around 11€.
If you need to travel beyond Munich main city in the Bavarian region then, I would suggest you to buy the Bayern Ticket. The Bayern Ticket is valid in whole Bavarian state and is valid for unlimited travel for the same day.

IM1323: Exit The Room
Manu und Daniel haben sich eine Stunde mit Tim einsperren lassen: bei Exit the Room in München. In diesem Live-Adventure geht es eigentlich nur darum, einen Raum wieder zu verlassen. Allerdings muss man dafür allerhand Rätsel lösen, um gemeinsam wieder zu entkommen. Manu hatte das Konzept vorher bereits bei Frexit in Freiburg ausprobiert, für Daniel und Tim war es ihr Raum-Debüt.

1936 TRIP TO NAZI GERMANY HOME MOVIE MUNICH KNEIPPIANUM HOTEL 76544
Shot in 1936 by a German-American family who visited Germany for the Olympic Games, this home movie is one of several in the Periscope Film LLC archive. We'd love additional information about the places seen in the film, so if you have any insights please leave them in the comments section. This film includes footage of Munich, the Kneippianum Wellvital Hotel, a Nazi Rally (3:30 mark) and calisthenics (3:40), and then a trip to New York aboard the liner SS Hansa.
More about the Hansas: This ship was originally the SS Albert Ballin, an ocean liner of the Hamburg-America Line launched in 1923 and named after Albert Ballin, visionary director of the line who had committed suicide several years earlier.
Albert Ballin was built by Blohm & Voss in Hamburg, and served on the Hamburg-New York City route. In 1928 a tourist class was added. Originally built as a 16 knot ship, the engines were replaced in 1929 resulting in a speed of 19 knots. In 1934 she was lengthened by 50 feet, and speed increased again, this time to 21.5 knots.
In 1935 the new Nazi government ordered the ship renamed to Hansa (Ballin having been Jewish). Hansa's last Atlantic crossing was in 1939. In 1945, she was employed to evacuate Gdynia, but on 6 March hit a mine off Warnemünde and sank.
The wreck was raised and rebuilt by the Soviet Union around 1949, and renamed Sovetskiy Soyuz (Russian: Советский Союз; meaning Soviet Union), becoming the largest passenger ship operating under the Soviet flag. From 1955 she operated between Vladivostok and points in the Far East. Renamed Tobolsk in 1980, she sailed under that name for only a year before being scrapped.
