Putin Brings German Business to Russia! Mercedes-Benz Opens New Factory in Moscow!
Subscribe to Vesti News
Mercedes-Benz is beginning to work in Russia. A new factory was opened in Moscow Oblast, where they'll produce 25,000 cars per year. Vladimir Putin attended the opening ceremony today. On the occasion of the ceremonial day, which opens Russia's story with the famous car, Vladimir Putin signed the hood of a brand new sedan.
Putin handles corruption LIKE A BOSS
The war against Putin stems from the sudden inability for crooks to plunder Russia's resources as well as get away with stealing budget funds - and - God forbid - have to pay taxes via their independent companies (often, contracted to government projects!) The man mentioned in the first clip, Mr. Belalov, ran away and was granted asylum in the UK. He cited political reasons for his inability to stay in Russia, when he was simply siphoning money from the government.
There are many outtakes like these - I picked only a couple for this compilation.

Biz En iyisini yaptik
Önümüzdeki hafta Rusya Devlet Başkanı'nın açılışını yapacağı 100 bin metre kare kapalı alana sahip dev otomobil fabrikasını bir Türk firması olarak zamanında teslim etmenin haklı gururunu yaşadıklarını belirten ESTA Construction Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Bahattin Demir Bilek, Biliyorsunuz Mercedes-Benz firmasının sloganı The best or nothing (En iyi ya da hiçbir şey) arkadaşlarım bu işte the best (En iyi) olan kısmına gerçekleştirdi. Bununla gurur duyuyorum.

For the new project 'Ongon: Journey to Buryatia (2016)' artists travelled to Siberia to find out the truth of mystical “ongon” - the spirit of past, the souls of one’s ancestors which inhabit sacred places in nature. The Buryat people of Southeastern Siberia have faith that their shamans use the power of drums and songs to travel to other worlds and communicate with spirits. By speaking with the Ongon and, sometimes letting them take over their bodies, shamans heal people, resolve problems and seek blessings. Their sacred sites are the trees, lakes and rivers of Buraytia where the spirits of these places and their ancestors reside. There the shamans drum and sing to call forth spirits and make offers of food, alcohol, and animal sacrifice.
During the trip Abraham Brody was himself seeking for roots – for the origins and depths of himself, using the power of music. As the artist once said in his interview: “Music is non verbal dialog. It is the communication that can bridge all languages and cultures”. Using the power of music in his performances Abraham Brody wants the audience to feel this pure energy of the origins. With his works Abraham proves that the past is a journey and everyone could be a part of it. As the part of 'Ongon' (2016) exhibition Abraham Brody will create a series of performances especially for Fabrika. These performances will take inspiration from his experience with Buryat Shamans and their rituals, with the aim to bring the public and himself into a deeper level of consciousness and communication.

Kommunalka: Traditional Soviet-Russian Living
Following the 1917 Revolution, the Soviets confiscated large apartments from Russian nobility and converted them into Kommunalkas to hold numerous families. While there are other housing options today, many Russians still choose and enjoy this way of life. Join us on our visit to a typical Kommunalka for a rare glimpse into a living part of the Soviet past.

The end of Russian violence_mix
Detailed description:
‘The End of Russian Violence’ was conceived as a psychic art experiment, filmed and treated for the installation. The goal of the experiment was to bring one painful topic out of the territory of subconscious into the light of mind, and to see what it would become.
The chosen topic was our main national problem – the problem of unrestricted violence of the privileged/powerful over the non-privileged/ deprived.
This disproportion still persists in our life and a ects our collective mind. It holds back our evolution as a nation. Sometimes they even call it ‘the Russian way’.
In our work we have tried to overcome this delusion.
The subconscious part of the act was dedicated to three butoh dancers, because butoh is the dance of pure subconsciousness. The dancers were given the task to dance the history of Russian state violence during last 450 years – since the time when it has been established as our state domestic policy by the first Russian czar Ivan the Terrible.
Since then the Russian violence has always remain

THE NEW YORK TIMES Text by Remy Tumin Photographs by Tako Robakidze
Feb. 13, 2018
Imagine waking up and realizing that you are now living in a different country.
But you never moved.
Such is the case for people living in Tskhinvali, or South Ossetia, a region recognized by the United States and NATO as Georgian territory but a Russian stronghold for the last 30 years. A truce was ostensibly called in 2008, but as the photographer Tako Robakidze discovered, ask any Georgian in the area and they will insist the conflict never really ended.
“There are two kinds of people along the border, people who fight every day along the creeping border and people who have lost everything,” said Ms. Robakidze, who grew up in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi and documented the crisis in “Creeping Borders,” a new project. “Overnight, you can find out your land or your house is now in occupied territory.” read more here:

United States remains very committed to our strategic

The United States’ and Georgia’s armed forces have been
cooperating together for many years and we are very proud that

RUSSIA: MABETEX ALLEGED CORRUPTION INVESTIGATION LATEST
Russian/Nat
The Russian General Prosecutor's office is continuing its investigation into a Swiss company called Mabetex which won lucrative contracts from the Kremlin to renovate official buildings in Russia.
Mabetex officials have denied any wrongdoing and the company has threatened to sue Russian Prosecutor General Yuri Skuratov who alleged the Swiss company could have been bribing Russian officials to secure the deals.
Swiss Attorney General Carla del Ponte is due to arrive in Moscow on Tuesday for talks with Skuratov on the issue.
The Swiss company Mabetex launched a counter offensive on Tuesday.
They have repeatedly denied accusations from the Russian General Prosecutor's office that they were involved in corruption.
SOUNDBITE: (Russian)
Our work is to sign as many contracts as possible and to work, that is what we care about, and what the general prosecutors office cares about is carefully investigating everything.
SUPER CAPTION: Bejet Pokkoli, Mabetex President
Skuratov hasn't named any suspects in the Mabetex case, but the Russian media have been abuzz with rumours that Yeltsin's daughter Tatyana and his top manager Pavel Borodin are implicated in the probe.
Mabetex contracts to renovate top-level official buildings in Moscow and Yeltsin's residences elsewhere in Russia have run into hundreds of (m) millions of U-S dollars.
But the Mabetex president insisted there had been no bribes involved in winning the contracts.
SOUNDBITE: (Russian)
Of course, the problem probably exists, if you want me to say that I've been bought off by someone, I will not do that. My firm was not bought off.
SUPER CAPTION: Bejet Pokkoli, Mabetex President
Switzerland's Federal Prosecutor Carla del Ponte arrived later on Tuesday for a two-day visit.
She will hold talks with Skuratov which will focus on Mabetex's activities and any possible Swiss connection.
SOUNDBITE: (Russian)
We were one of many firms who worked there and that we are from Switzerland, I cannot do anything about that. It's not my fault that all the banks opened their doors.
SUPER CAPTION: Bejet Pokkoli, Mabetex President
Skuratov has said that his probe into official corruption linked to Mabetex's activities helped provoke attempts to
oust and smear him.
Skuratov submitted his resignation last month citing health reasons, then changed his mind last week, telling
the Russian parliament's upper house he had been forced to resign under duress.
Lawmakers decided he should stay.
Under Russian law, a president can't fire a prosecutor general without a parliamentary approval.
Skuratov found himself the center of attention for another reason last week, when Russian television aired a lurid
tape apparently showing him in bed with two women.
The scandal has further eroded Yeltsin's power, which is already weakened by his frequent illnesses, and encouraged Communists and other hard-liners to step up their attacks on the president.

Kaliningrad Region: How the Amber Region Builds Ships and Raises Wunderkinds

On Monday, the Prime Minister of Lithuania, Skvernelis, explained why his government was going to build a wall on the border with the Kaliningrad region.
For protection from migrants and smugglers coming from Russia. But everyone understands that building the wall instead of cooperating with Russia is a symbol of paranoid Russophobia.
Even the European Union gave Lithuania a warning. There will be no money for this absurd project.
The governor of the Kaliningrad region, Anton Alikhanov, said: Let them build whatever they want!
He even offered to supply Lithuania with building materials for the construction of the wall. However, the wall is not an issue for Kaliningradians.

The End of Russian Violence_Trailer
'The End of Russian Violence', 39:00
Video installation for four screens
'The End of Russian violence' is a concept performed by three butoh
players and one spectator, first staged and recorded at one take on
November 19 in 2012 in Moscow.
The whole event was held out as an experiment/social psychic therapy
attempt.
The core theme of the butoh dance and the spectators'
contemplation were the last 400 years of Russian history, shown at the
angle of violence between the privileged and the underruled.
The dancers were given the task to play this story of Russian doom: the chain of violence, the Violator and the Victim changing places for generations with no ending... How and why?
Conceptually, we wanted to articulate it, bring it up. For this reason we made the spectator contribute. By placing an encephalograph on her head, we read the spectators' mind and emotions and turned them into sounds that would make the soundtrack for the dance. It helped us build a feedback and a very intense atmosphere on the spot.
We wanted to see where the experiment would take us. And to maybe find some answers.
We made no rehearsals. It all happened in one place at one moment.
Documented by two static and two operated cameras, the whole set
consists of four screens placed in a half-lit room.
Two screens on far opposite walls picture the dancers and spectator as
they have been filmed by two static cameras.
Two other screens placed in front of one another on two other walls
show the same acts edited together, as they have been shot by two
cameramen.
One of the videos opposes the distorted version of itself, remixed by
the same algorithm, which had translated the spectators' emotions into
the music for the dance.
All the four videos are synchronized, bringing back the atmosphere of
the experiment.
It may be called Russian, but it is all universal.

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art presents Open Systems. Self-Organized Art Initiatives in Russia: 2000–2015.
Since 2000, the Russian art scene has witnessed the rise of artists’ DIY initiatives, including independent non-profit spaces, exhibitions in deserted factories and underground crosswalks, street festivals, internet projects, and apartment shows. Together these reflect the autonomy of emerging generations of artists from both state-run and private institutions. Open Systems is a live, research-based exhibition that presents self-organized initiatives, exploring the phenomenon through the perspectives of artists who have pioneered projects over the past 15 years.
