The Biggest Undercover Dairy Investigation in History - Fair Oaks Farms and Coca Cola
Today the largest undercover dairy investigation in history is being released with video evidence documenting systemic and illegal abuse at Fair Oaks Farm in Fair Oaks, Indiana.
Fair Oaks Farms is one of the largest dairies in the U.S. and produces dairy products for the Fairlife milk brand - which is produced, marketed and distributed by the Coca-Cola Corporation.
Undercover investigators for Animal Recovery Mission (ARM) have confirmed that male calves from Fair Oaks Farms are in fact transported to veal farms (Midwest Veal and Calf Start), despite the corporation's claims that it does not send its male calves to veal farms.
The following abuses were witnessed on virtually a daily basis:
Employees were observed slapping, kicking, punching, pushing, throwing and slamming calves; calves were stabbed and beaten with steel rebars, hit in the mouth and face with hard plastic milking bottles, kneed in the spine, burned in the face with hot branding irons, subjected to extreme temperatures, provided with improper nutrition, and denied medical attention. This resulted in extreme pain and suffering by the calves, and in some cases permanent injury and even death.
In addition, the ARM investigator captured footage of drug use and illegal marijuana cultivation by Fair Oaks employees and supervisors.
Animal Recovery Mission calls on the Coca-Cola Corporation, which claims to have a progressive stance on animal welfare, to end their relationship with Fairlife Corporation and cut their ties with the veal industry.
Fair Life Milk Exposed | Operation Fair Oaks Farms Extended Cut | ARM Investigation | The Full Story
From the Animal Recovery Mission Website -
On June 4th, 2019, ARM released disturbing footage of one of its most grueling factory farm investigations to date. Initiating in 2018, an ARM undercover investigator captured surveillance evidence of the systematic and horrific animal abuse that is occurring at the Fair Oaks Farm’s Dairy Farm Adventures, located in Indiana, USA.
Owned and operated by Mike and Sue McCloskey, under the Fair Life Corporation, Fair Oaks Farms not only stands as one of the largest dairy farm corporations in the United States, but it has also repeatedly and publicly, prided itself as ‘acting as a window to the agriculture world’ by providing complete transparency into the everyday operations of a dairy farm.
Every year, Fair Oak Farms educates millions of people and provides public tours of the entire process dairy process of farm to table. On the Fair Life website, it states that (the animals are) “Always in Good Hands”. Despite these claims, ARM revealed what it considers to be, the first realistic and honest audit of the Fair Oaks Farm and Fair Life Corporation’s operations, including the daily mistreatment of the resident farm animals. Information that has been hidden from the public.
ARM’s investigation of Fair Oaks Farms Dairy Adventures also exposed a connection to the cruel and inhumane veal industry where male calves are transported to locations in North Manchester from Fair Oaks Farms.
Fair Oaks Farms is one of several dairies belonging to Select Milk Producers Inc, who is also the producer of the Fairlife label. Fair Life and Coco-Cola additionally have a joint venture with Select Milk including Fair Life Milk, Core Power, and YUP dairy products which are sold in major grocery chains nationwide.
Go to ARM’s website for the Entire report to learn more about the animal cruelty and abuse that the dairy cows of Fair Oaks Farms are subjected to on a daily basis.
As consumers, you can make your voices heard by contacting Fair Oaks Farms, Publix and Coca Cola and demand that these products and companies cease supporting this incredibly cruel treatment upon dairy cows.
One of the most significant ways that the public can contribute to change in this industry is to choose plant-based choices and discontinue the consumption of Dairy products

Second undercover investigation reveals widespread dairy cow abuse at Fair Oaks Farms and Coca Cola
Warning: the way the fairlife corporation and Coca Cola treat their dairy cows and baby calves will make you sick! As part of the largest undercover dairy investigation in history, Animal Recovery Mission (ARM) investigators have followed up on last week’s groundbreaking video with new evidence showing that the abuses of dairy cows and calves at Fair Oaks Farms are widespread and systematic. This is not the result of a few bad apples - this is company malpractice and a failure of the so called “rotary system”.
Learn more below, and at animalrecoverymission.org. Our investigators need your support to continue to expose the abusive and criminal activities hidden in the dairy industry.
Between February and April of 2019, an ARM Investigator was hired by Fair Oaks Farms in Fair Oaks, Indiana to milk cows on a rotary system. On a nearly daily basis, the investigator witnessed employees punching, kicking, and stabbing cows, sometimes hitting their udders with the milking claws or shoving them with metal tubes and broomsticks. When cows in the milking line would not cooperate, frustrated employees would bend and break the cows’ tail bones as punishment.
On a daily basis, cows with infected eyes, broken bleeding tails, infected udders and afterbirth placentas hanging out from their bodies were seen being forced on the rotary system. The investigator did not witness any of the cows at this Fair Oaks Farms Fairlife dairy receiving medical attention, but did witness multiple downer cows and many cows falling while on the rotary system from poor health, untreated injuries, inability to walk and overall weakness.
It’s important to note the entire milking carousel has surveillance cameras and actions are video recorded and overseen by management. Unfortunately, management did not step in to stop the abuse suffered by the dairy cows.
The investigator also reported that newborn calves, immediately separated from their mother and just hours after birth, were violently thrown into small sheds where they would be alone in temperatures falling below minus 35 degrees Fahrenheit. The ARM Investigator also witnessed calves dying from extreme freezing conditions with upper management’s knowledge. During this period hundreds of newborn calves died of starvation, dehydration, and hypothermia.
Last week's video on the treatment of the calves at Fair Oaks Farms sparked outrage worldwide and caused many retailers to reconsider their support of the fairlife brand. With global news coverage and more than 8 million views on the video from the first Fair Oaks investigation, many consumers are joining in protests a. To date, more than a dozen retailers have stopped carrying fairlife, including Jewel-Osco, Winn Dixie, and Sprouts.
ARM is calling on Coca-Cola to end its relationship with Fairlife Corporation. This second addition to the Fair Oaks Farm investigation shows that the issue with its dairies is systemic, and cannot be written off as a few bad employees.
