Faros Beach in Pervolia, Larnaca, Cyprus
Faros beach is situated in the locality of Larnaca, specifically in the village of Pervolia. The beach is sandy with a very wild and resistant to the sun vegetation around the beach. The sea of this bay is a crystal blue and with significant fish life. The beach attracts a significant amount of tourists due to its accessibility from Larnaca International Airport. At the beach there are a number of water sports, cantines and a small volley beach court. At Faros Bay one finds a good number of boat houses, that are used by the Cypriots as summer residences.

Larnaca - Cyprus's oil refinery and storage
The road leading from Larnaca city centre to the tourist region of the Larnaca-Dekelia Road will undergo regeneration with the removal of the oil refineries and new area upgrades. The area will be developed for touristic and recreational use and with the refineries transferred there will also be an additional 3 km of beach for use. Larnaca Dekelia Road is lined with hotels, holiday apartments, restuarants, pubs and other leisure facilities.
